This is a very special apartment . Located in the extreme side of the building, you feel as if you were in a Villa with outstanding views of all gardens. A large outdoor terrace gives you excellent views and total privacy. This terrace is perfect for relaxing, taking a drink or having a quiet family meal. The apartment was recently re-decorated, with new fully equipped kitchen and new bathrooms. Its excellent location makes this apartment one of the best choices in Jardins do Golfe and Vale do Lobo resort. Linen and towels provided and daily cleaning service possible on request.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Situated on the extreme South of Portugal, this part of the territory was the last to be conquered from the Moors by the Portuguese king in 1292. Traces of the Moorish presence are still seen in its unique architecture - terraces, chimneys and whitewashed houses.

However, the distance that was difficult to cover back in the 13th century is no longer an obstacle thanks to the modern Lisbon-Albufeira-Castro Marim road (IP1) or Faro international airport. So why not visit this charming region, with its idyllic temperatures which are ideal for playing golf and other sports. In the northern part of the Algarve, the hills of Espinhação de Cão, Monchique and Caldeirão shelter the coast from strong winds. This brightly coloured region, with its fig trees, orange groves and almond trees in blossom, is also the most verdant and fertile. The southern coastline consists of a long stretch of fabulous sandy beaches, broken up by extraordinary rugged cliffs and fantastic grottoes.


Vale do Lobo / Jardins do Golfe area

Founded in 1962 by Trusthouse Forte plc and Costain plc, both well-known multi-nationals, Vale do Lobo was the first development in the Algarve.

At that time, the Algarve was mainly inhabited by farmers and fishermen. It was only after the establishment of Vale do Lobo, its five star Meridien Hotel Dona Filipa and the first golf course, that Faro Airport was opened.

Whilst looking for a holiday home in the mid 1970s, Sander van Gelder, a Dutch entrepreneur with a large chain of jewellers in the Netherlands, discovered Vale do Lobo. Recognising the potential of the resort, he bought it. He moved to Portugal in 1977, to set about nurturing and developing Vale do Lobo into a truly unique resort.

30 years later, Vale do Lobo was a mature, 400 hectare resort, attracting residents and visitors from all over Europe by its self-contained community, quality properties and excellent facilities and services.
