Jardins do Golfe is nestled beside the 2nd hole of the Royal Course a short distance from the Main Entrance of Vale do Lobo. The Jardins do Golfe is a private complex and is set in a hectare of beautiful, mature and well tended gardens and boasts beautiful gardens, tennis courts and within walking distance to the glorious beaches. There is an onsite pool.
It is a 2 minute walk to the local minimarket and Medical Centre. Parque Do Golfe which is the Reception for the Royal and Ocean golf courses is a 5 minute stroll from the apartment there are also many shops including beauty centre, a most wonderful health spa (can vouch from experience), hairdresser, cash point, Hertz, post office & newsagent selling daily English newspapers and magazines also a cafe and another bar overlooking the 1st holes of the Ocean and Royal Courses.

We have tried to think of everything that you would need or want for a luxury holiday. There are many extras we have included in the apartment, stereo & CDs, DVD player and movies, Playstation 2 and games, even books and magazines. All new furnishings from comfy sofas, squishy cushions to cuddly throws to snuggle under at night while relaxing. As an added extra all the bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided for you while on holiday.
During your stay if you have any problems or require assistance we a in the local area to assist you.

Jardins do Golfe is nestled beside the 2nd hole of the Royal Course, a short distance from the main entrance of Vale do Lobo. The Jardins do Golfe complex is set in beautiful, mature and well tended gardens.
The walk to the beach takes less than 15 minutes along a private road, then alongside the Royal Golf Course pathway. It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggys. Newly opened is Paixa restaurant / wine bar (very popular with the glitterati!) that boasts a fabulous selection of wine displayed in glass wine cellar. In winter there is an open log fire.
There are also 3 new synthetic all weather tennis courts and a practice court in Jardins do Golfe – tennis instructors are available on-site all year round. Guests are Jardins Do Golfe have preferential prices for tennis lessons and court hire.
It is only a short minute walk from the complex to the cash machine, restaurants, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc. in Parque Do Golfe.
You will have access to the onsite unheated pool and children's pool.
The bus stop to over 25 destinations along the Algarve (and to and from the airport) also departs from outside the Medical Centre. The golf range is only a few minutes walk away. It is a 10 minute walk to Tennis Academy.
The Praca which is the nightlife/beach front area of Vale do Lobo is a 15 minute walk - the Kangaroo Children's Club is here and Vale do Lobo Beach. At the Praca there are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, newsagent, real estate agent and a night club. Free live entertainment nightly during summer.
About 3/4 mile down the main road into Vale Do Lobo are another good selection of restaurants including the Sao Gabriel - a Michelin star restaurant and the Thai Garden restaurant also highly recommended. I also recommend the several 'beach shack' restaurants collectively known as 'Julias' it is a 5 minute drive from the apartment of better still a fabulous ramble along the Vale Do Lobo beach and the famous red cliffs - the beach walk takes about 15 minutes from the Praca and is well worth the effort !!
The Quinta do Lago Shopping Centre is about 2 mile down the road, here there are many exclusive designers shops and some lovely restaurants/cafes. There is also a Italian restaurant that delivers pizza and pasta (and a bottle of wine) to the apartment....the menu is in the folder...for those nights that you just can't be bothered to cook.
SHORT BREAKS AND LONG WEEKEND STAYS ARE AVAILABLE DURING THE YEAR

Golfing weekends can be arranged, I can assist in booking tee off times. There is plenty of storage space for your golf clubs in the apartment - they don't need to share the sofa with you !!!

There are plenty of opportunities to play tennis in Vale do Lobo, There are 3 tennis courts in Jardins Do Golfe. Alternatively I can arrange court times in the Tennis Valley (14 flood lit courts) of VdL. There are professionals on hand to help you improve any aspect of your game, regular lessons can be arranged for you.
The Vale do Lobo beach which is a easy 15 minute stroll through the Resort - is a safe, clean, 'Blue flag' beach for families. The beach has undergone a massive redevelopment e which has widened and extended the beach reclaiming several million tonnes of sand now making it much larger than it has been in recent years. There are sunloungers are for hire.
I would recommend hiring a car then you can take advantage of all the interesting places the Algarve has to offer. I can arrange car hire for you at very competitive rates, alternatively, I can arrange an airport 'meet and greet' service collect and return in a private car. (We can also supply child car seats free of charge).
There are many acitivities within a short distance. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours & Cultural visits. There is also an Aqua Park and a Swim With Dolphin experience (30 mins drive). In the apartment is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. It costs approx €30 euros from the airport to Jardins do Golfe in a public taxi.

A securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
Conditions
Changeover days are flexible all year round. It is necessary to vacant the apartment by 10.00am on the day of departure in the high season. Access to the property is usually after 3.00pm. We can make arrangements to store your bags.
For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non refundable. All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation refunds:
Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

The Algarve is located in southern county of Portugal and is geographically the most South Westerly tip of Europe. It boasts over 100 sunny beaches from the Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa Reserve which runs along the Eastern coast to the virtually uninhabited windswept beaches of the Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina on the Western coast. BA, Easyjet and Monarch all run a good schedule of flights to Faro. I recommend a website www.skyscanner.net to see the best price for your flights, it is a very easy and compact site that loads up all airlines departing from your airport of choice with the times and most importantly the COST !!

I can also arrange a meet and greet service or private car airport drop off from Faro airport for a small locally paid cost.
A fun web site to use is www.wunderground.com it is a 'weather site' that has historical weather data for Faro and also a 'trip planner' option that gives you a really good idea of what type of weather to expect when you are on holiday.

The king size bed is uncomfortable as it was two single beds put together but the gaps are too uneven as it was January so very cold, no proper duvet, the bedspread was ripped and was charged for, my husband and I had never in our experience ripped beddings in our 27 years together even when we had fight, but they insisted it was not the quality of their beddings. Our son came on holiday with us, the apartment was so cold, even with full heating on it did not seem to heat up the apartment, he became ill, and I also came down with a cold, had to make a trip to see doctor while we were their, so not much of holiday, we had to stay in cooked in the apartment, its self catering after all, part of the deposit was to cover their lost of income due to our cooking, by the way we only had roasted dinner once or twice, the other part of the deposit was to cover for the ripped bedspread and four hours of cleaning for one bed apartment , yes you read right apartment not mansion (you would think that we were drunken hooligan deliberately destroying the property) so beware!!! Even if you took care of their property as your own they will make any excuses to not return your deposit!! Response: ''Generally we are concerned if someone has not had a positive experience, but in this case you were the most disgusting guests we have ever had. We doubt you washed at all whilst you were on holiday - the property STUNK when you left. You turned the maids away the several times that they came to clean, you made rips and tears in the bedding, stained the mattresses and after you were gone (and we cleaned to be very best that you can) the next guests refused to stay in the property due to unbelievable stench of you being there. We have had to throw away the bedding and replace the mattresses. You are not welcome back ever and if anyone else were to consider to rent to you - we strongly advised against this as you do not have any hygeine standards. By the way - if you are reading this and thinking of renting this apartment you are now in luck as you have all new bedding to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday……… |
