The Margarida apartment is brand new architect designed property that boast luxury all the way!! Located right on the Vale Do Lobo Royal Golf course with spectacular views across the greens and towards the mountain ranges.
The walk to the beach takes less than 15 minutes along the landscaped pathways of the resort.
It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggys. Newly opened is Paixa restaurant / wine bar (very popular with the glitterati!) that boasts a fabulous selection of wine displayed in glass wine cellar. In winter there is an open log fire at the restaurant too.
Included in your holiday is access to the Jardins Do Golfe leisure complex. With 3 new synthetic all weather tennis courts and tennis instructors are available on-site all year round. One site is also 2 pools and a snack bar open all day – serving meals and drinks.
From the Margarida apartment it is only a 5 minute walk from the complex to the medical centre. A 10 minute walk to the cash machine, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc. in Parque do Golfe. More restaurants and bars are located at the Praca which is a 15 minute walk.
In the Praca there are numerous restaurants and bars – open all day and late into the evening. There is free live entertainment from May to September and Monty's Bar and Restaurant is open all year round with evening entertainment.
If you want to plane a different and fun day for you and your family/friends, we can help you choosing one of the activities: ticket for Aquashow Park & Zoomarine and many other tours and excursions through out the Algarve.
Also available is access to Jardins Do Golfe communal pools and tennis courts. Jardins do Golfe boasts two fantastic onsite pools and three tennis courts. The main pool is 22 metres long and 8.5 metres wide with easy steps into the pool and a deep end of 3 metres. Also a shallow sunny children's pool with waterfall and ample terrace space around the pool. The snack bar serves meals and drinks all day until early evening.

For low and mid season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost.For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non refundable.

Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund

We recommend car hire to give you the flexibility to really make the most of the resort and surrounding area. We can organize car hire for you.
Alternatively we can arrange a personal meet and greet service from/to the airport in a private car with child car seats provided for free. Choose from standard saloon, people carrier and mini bus transfers.
A public taxi from the airport costs approximately €30 to Margarida apartment Note: Public taxis do not provide child seats.

The Algarve is a relatively small area and has well maintained and easily accessible road system which makes touring and sightseeing very attractive and there are many fine places to visit, such as the 12th century Moorish Castle at Silves, the fortress and training school of Prince Henry the Navigator, and the lighthouse at Cape St Vincent which in olden times, before the discovery of the Americas, was thought of as the end of the world. There are also many cathedrals, churches, museums and stately houses of architectural interest.
In the 17th and 18th century Portugal was a leader in the discoveries of the New World, the Africas and Eastern trade. In recent years this little country has joined the European Union, has a very stable government and enjoys the comforts of modern Europe.
The Algarve is a very popular destination, the consistent good weather and top class golf courses being the main attractions. The region, from the Spanish border town of Villa Real de São Antonio to Cape St Vincent, is about a hundred miles and the depth of the county is less than five miles. The west has a backdrop of the Monchique Mountains with spectacular scenery, spa towns, monasteries, lush vegetation and protects the Algarve from rain. Hence the glorious climate all year round.
Food and wine are institutions here, as is spotless accommodation, courtesy to visitors, genuine friendliness and a pride in service. Most people are conversant in English. There is also an overwhelming respect for the law, which makes the Algarve a particularly safe and relaxing vacation destination.
The old and the new is very apparent here with modern hotels and resorts lying side by side with old farms where you can admire the fig, almond, olive and orange groves. Seafood is abundant and varied and there are many unusual dishes to try. Another aspect of the Algarve are the wide variety of beaches, all graced with thick grained golden sand and all very clean with nice beach restaurants.
The Eastern Algarve – the Sotaventa (leeward) coast, is the lesser known half of the region the pace of life is slower and has with a very different topography and character to the central and western Algarve the beaches are typically long, wide and flat. The west is typically with its coves and rock formations or longer beaches with a background of red cliffs and pine trees
Over the past 30 years, the Algarve has emerged as Europe's top golf destination, the 5-star golf resorts of Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura being famous throughout the golfing world.
The Vale do Lobo area
Faro town is a 15 minute drive there is a large shopping centre that offers good facilities. Most tours offer a pickup/drop-off bus service from VdL to the attractions. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours & Cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin..... There is also an Aqua Park 10 mins drive on the other side of Quateria) and a Swim With Dolphin experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the Motorway).
In the apartment is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria (5 min drive) has a very impressive farmers market that is well worth visiting (oh and testing out the produce !!). Both of these attractions you can walk to usually in about an hour if you are feeling energetic......otherwise I have a folder with telephone numbers of local taxi services if you do not wish to drive.

Faro is the closest airport and is easily accessed from many airports across Europe. Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair, Air Berlin, BA and many more fly here all year round. I recommend www.skyscanner.net to look for the best flights.

The apartment is prepared for your arrival, all your linen and towels & beach towels are included. 1 mid week maid service of 1 hour duration . Additional maid service is available at an extra cost, please enquire.
Changeover days are flexible but during the summer months it is more likely to be on a weekday. It is necessary to vacant the property by 10am on the day of departure in the high season. Access to the property is after 3pm on day of arrival unless previous arrangements have been made.
All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition.
The quoted rates includes maid service with change of sheets & towels after 7 nights. The rental includes tax at the prevailing rate, preparation of the property also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided.
