Luxury 2 bedroom villa (sleeps 4-6) with private heated pool in the heart of Vale do Lobo. With views over the tennis courts and it's extensive grounds. About 10/15 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches and the Vale do Lobo golf courses and restaurants. The tennis club has a large pool, restaurant and gym.
The villa is perfect for those with small children or the elderly as there are no stairs. There is a metal fence available for those who wish to fence off the pool. The villa is our second home and therefore very well furnished and fully equipped, not like the usual rental villas! Free air conditioning / wifi / sky / high chair / travel cot.

Very large sitting room (approx 25ft x 15ft) with large sofa and comfortable seating for six. Dining table that seats six. 36 inch plasma screen and full Sky TV incorporating all major UK TV channels and sports and children's channels.
Wifi and internet.
There is a full maid service and linen/laundry change each week. Daily maid service available at an extra cost. Beach towels not included.

There is a terracotta tiled terrace around the kidney shaped pool (approx size 17 ft x 9 ft with a depth of between 4ft 6in to 6ft 6in) with 4 loungers.
There is a covered dining area with a dining table with six chairs. There is also a brick built-in barbecue.
There is a metal gate which leads onto the lawned area around the tennis courts which is a great safe play area for children. The pool can be heated to 30 degrees Celsius (85 Farenheit) if required and for this we would charge £95 per week.

Conditions
Since my father in law has Parkinsons, we decided to go for a villa that has no stairs and is therefore easily manoeuvrable with a wheelchair.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The small town of Almancil is a ten minute drive and Vilamoura, with its marina and many restaurants, is a 15 minute drive. There are many other villages and towns worth a visit within easy reach.
It is a ten minute walk or a short drive to the most beautiful sandy beaches and numerous restaurants and beach bars.
The Vale do Lobo / Quinta do Lago area
There is an abundance of world class golf courses in the immediate vicinity. Within our complex there is the Royal course and the Ocean course (where the Portuguese Open has been held).
Within a 10 to 15 minute drive there are numerous other wonderful courses including Quinta da Logo, Vilamoura, San Lorenzo, Vila Sol, Pinheiros Altos with a further 6 courses within a 30 minute drive.
Everything is available on site, including a supermarket, beauty spa, gym, doctor, golf courses, driving range, putting greens, tennis courts, the beach and many restaurants, bars and shops.

The villa was lovely and clean, very bright and spacious. We arrived on our first day early in the morning and the previous occupants had only just left. The maid made us very welcome and we changed and went for lunch while she was doing the handover clean. The location is nice and quiet and well situated for beaches, restaurants and shopping, a car is essential. The patio gets the sun all day from early morning through to 7pm - perfect for sun worshippers! The only minor downside was the pool, a little smaller than expected and it has a leak so the heater/filter shuts down if you dont top it up every day. That apart, we (my mum and teeenage daughter included) really enjoyed our stay and will definately return next year! Thanks Charles & Karen. |

A deposit of 50% is required to secure booking (25% if more than 6 months in advance).
Balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A deposit cheque of £200 against damages is also required.
(So far, we have never had to use this deposit!).
At least one guest must be 30 years +.
Sorry but no student groups.
We can offer discounts for long lets.
Pool heating is charged at £95 per week.
We do not charge extra for air-con or heating.
Changeover days to be agreed when booking but usually Fridays.
Arrival time 4pm, departure 10am.
