The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region
This is the place to be on the Cote d'Azur! Far from the madding crowd, but ideally situated 20 mins from the coast.
Mougins, the gastronomic centre of the South of France is a 15 min drive. Gourdon, high above, is well worth a visit for the fantastic view and scenery.
Grasse, the perfume capital of the Cote d'Azur is close by and for the hustle and bustle of the coast, Cannes, Antibes, La Napoule, Juan les Pins and Theoule are all within a 40 min drive. It may, however be hard to tear oneself away from the total relaxation of this lovely house...
The Valbonne / Opio area
The property is 8 min drive from Valbonne, a busy medieval town with a myriad of little streets around a large central square with many restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and a buzzing Friday market.
Opio has local shops and provisions nearby, within 2 km.
Many, many places of interest as detailed above, or one could just relax by the pool or in a shady corner of the garden with a good book...
