Valbonne is a busy medieval town with a myriad of little streets winding around a large central square with many restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and a buzzing Friday market. Our three story house in Valbonne, newly renovated for the 2011 season, is the perfect spot to explore the gorgeous area from Cannes to Vence, Monaco, Nice and Mougins , the gastronomic capital of the south of France.
The area has everything one would need for a relaxing break in the south of France or a romantic getaway at all times of the year. Unlike the coast, Valbonne has an all year round real village community, and yet is 15 minutes from Cannes. Gourdon, high above, is well worth a visit for the fantastic view and scenery. Grasse, the perfume centre is close by and for the hustle and bustle of the coast, Cannes, Antibes, La Napoule, Juan les Pins and Theoule are all within 30-40 minutes.

With it's own front door from the Rue du Rocher, number 3 is a charming, newly renovated town house, comprising at entrance level open plan US kitchen dining area with views onto the street and leading to the sitting room, with seating area, fireplace, flat screen TV and stereo and a guest toilet. Stairs lead up to the first floor with master double bedroom, shower room and a small twin bedroom. Stairs continue up to a second living room/double bedroom. Sofa bed and large doors leading out to an open roof terrace. Perfect for meals outside or a glass of rose in the evening sun. Extremely rare in a village property, this outside area completes the village experience. A perfect spot for dining or a sundowner or just relaxing...

The house is ideally situated in the centre of Valbonne, 20 mins from the coast. The property is close to Opio, Chateauneuf, all with local shops, bars, restaurants and lively weekly markets.
Provence is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, with its blend of sun-baked hilltop villages and glamorous resorts like St Tropez and Nice. Nice shows the influence of years as a world-class resort with its famous Promenade des Anglais and the city offers a real taste of France with its amazing bouillabaisse. The gorgeous sunshine of the Riviera has made the Cote d’Azur a powerful draw since the early nineteenth century, and the yearly influx of celebrities for the Cannes film festival only heightens the area’s allure.
