We have just bought this chalet and it needs updating which we are working on. All is in working order, but some of the decor is dated. Updated photos will be added as we change the place.

Valberg is a family mountain resort near Nice. The Mercantour national park with beautiful hikes is on your dorrstep. See www.mercantour.eu for more information. Entrevaux is a large medieval town about 20 mins away where you can climb up to the castle on the top of the hill. You can take the local train service to Digne or Nice (take it from Touet sur Var which is 25kms away), travelling through lovely gorges and small villages. Valberg area
Valberg is a family mountain resort near Nice. See www.valberg.com for full details. There is an English flag at the bottom of the site to convert it into English. There is skiing in winter, and walking, cycling, swimming, tennis, and horse riding in summer. There is an open air swimming pool with a cafe and children's playground, and tennis courts to hire. There is a tree experience where you walk amongst trees, 10m off the ground, using rope ladders and platforms. There is an elastic jumping experience (not a bungy jump) for children. Bikes can be hired from a couple of local shops.
How to get there
Use Easyjet or Ryan air to Nice airport, and then you can hire a car or take a bus from the Central Bus station in Nice. You can also take a train to Touet sur Var and then a taxi for last 25kms. Valberg is at 75 minutes driving time from Nice.
