The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Uzumlu is located in the hills towards the mountains above Fethiye a 20 minute drive away. Villa Uzumlu is just 50 minutes from the new airport in Dalaman which is served by many regional airports throughout Europe with a large choice of low cost flights especially from the UK and Germany.
The famous beach at Oludeniz is just 30 minutes away and short trips to other places near by are recommended. Click on out places of interest page for more.
Nearby and above Uzumlu in the mountains is the ancient Lycian City of Cadianda. Here apart from the stunning and spectacular views you can explore the ruins of a theatre, stadium, Temple and Agora. This is a visit not to be missed as is market day (Friday) in Uzumlu Village.

Cadianda is just a short distance away above Uzumlu and is well worth the visit for ancient ruins and simply breathtaking views. Be sure not to miss the local market in Uzumlu on Fridays with a fantastic selection of the freshest local produce at unbelievably low prices.
The Wine House in Uzumlu main street just a short walk down from the villa is superb offering a wide selection of locally produced wines. They are now offering good beers and cocktails as well as a delicious varied menu catering for everything from breakfast through lunch dinner afternoon teas and of course fine dining in the evening.
