The villa is suitable for up to 10 people, with its own private pool, baby pool and large enclosed garden (landscaping takes place over the winter 2006/07). There are 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite and 2 separate. The villa is fully furnished with all facilities. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday but wish to be near towns and beaches, then this is the villa for you. The villa is equipped with TV, DVD and Satellite to keep you happy inside. There are restaurants within 2 minutes drive if you wish to stay local. The village has shops to cater for everyday “stay at home” needs or you are just 15 minutes drive from large supermarkets, a plethora of restaurants and shops.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

VillaTebesir is situated in a peaceful rural setting just outside the village of Uzumlu with beautiful mountain views. There is a local market every Friday in Uzumlu where you can buy local produce for home-cooking. The nearest town is Fethiye, an attractive old town which is a busy centre providing essential shops and services such as supermarkets and banks. It has a magnificent harbour and a wonderful promenade dotted with bars and restaurants. A little further along the coast is Oludeniz an area designated as a National Park. Its beach sweeps along for 3km and curves into a beautiful lagoon, with crystal clear water perfect for a variety of water sports. Boat trips run to the various islands off the coast and Rhodes is accessible by Hydrofoil. Sailing, paragliding, scuba diving and white water rafting are all available in the local area. Ancient ruins from the Lycian period can be seen at Cadianda, Letoon, Xaanthos and Sidyma or take a walk along the famous Lyci.

Uzumlu area

Villa Tebesir is situated in the Taurus Mountains which surround the nearby town of Fethiye, located on the Turquoise coast of Turkey. The villa is 20 minutes walk from Uzumlu, a quiet rural village which has a weekly market, post office, restaurants and local shops.

Further details indoors:
Air conditioning is provided in the living room and in the master bedroom and there is also a log fire in the living room. Hot water is provided by a boiler as well as solar so you can always rely on a hot shower. A pay as you go mobile is provided.

Further details outdoors:
The whole villa is surrounded by a stone wall with a gate and any children can run about the 25000m2 garden in complete safety (barring the normal falling over etc.). Most meals will be taken "al fresco" and the covered terrace is ideal. There are areas of total seclusion in the garden for privacy in fact most days you won't see a soul.

We have not marked this villa up as disabled friendly but there are ramps to the house and garden and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for someone who is partially disabled.
