About the home

Yamac villa is an extremely spacious, bright, modern and luxurious 6 bedroom villa. It has been finished to the highest specification with marble and travetine throughout.

On the ground floor, in addition to the huge open plan living/ dining/ kitchen space, there is also a separate playroom [with sofabed], shower room and utility room for practical family living. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Outside, the villa has two pools one of which is a shallow children's pool, a large terrace surrounding the pools and a fantastic separate dining terrace with outside barbecue. There is parking and one level is laid to lawn.

Upstairs, there are 6 bedrooms [each sleeping 2 persons] ,1 modern white bathroom, 2 en suite shower rooms and a lovely first floor terrace with seating and an outdoor fireplace.

Exceptional views of the surrounding mountains can be seen from all aspects. It will appeal to those seeking a get away from it all holiday in a beautiful, quiet and private location.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Bed linen and towels are provided and the villa will be cleaned once a week and before and after each stay. Additional cleaning can be provided at a small extra charge.

The sitting room has an open fire and a number of seating areas. There is a separate play room with TV and a laundry room with two washing machines and tumble dryer.

In addition to the main pool there is also a shallow children's pool. Sun loungers are provided. Upstairs there is a large roof terrace with seating and an open fire which overlooks the valley.
Adjacent forest is perfect for exploring, children friendly area laid to lawn has seen many football and cricket matches and outstanding star gazing by the outdoor barbeque is a must.

A 25% deposit is required on booking. Balance is payable 8 weeks before departure. Security deposit will be required.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Eighteen kilometres from Uzumlu is the bustling town of Fethiye offering extensive shopping (including a growing number of large supermarkets), boat trips to the bays and islands within Fethiye Bay, beaches and numerous restaurants.

Twenty minutes drive away is the popular and lively Calis beach resort with its wide variety of restaurants. The world famous lagoon of Oludeniz, with its unspoilt beaches and crystal clear water is a 45 minute drive away.

Within easy distance are many ancient Roman, Greek and Lycian sites to explore. The ancient Roman settlement of Cadianda is a fifteen minutes drive from the Villa (or an hours steep climb and easy jog down for those wanting to be a little more active).

River rafting, paragliding, canoeing, sailing, fishing and horseriding are available near to Fethiye as well as mountainside walks for all levels.

The Uzumlu area

Yamac Villa is situated in the Taurus Mountains which surround the nearby town of Fethiye, located on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The villa is 20 minutes walk from Uzumlu, a quiet rural village which has a weekly market, post office, restaurants and local shops.

It is a traditional unspoilt town situated in breathtaking scenery but with access to all the amenities you may require. Daily baked fresh bread and local produce, along with an increasingly available supply of more recognisable British goods (marmite, bacon) have appeared.

You can fly to Dalaman International Airport direct from most UK airports including Birmingham, East Midlands, Manchester, Bristol and Gatwick. Flight times are between 3.5 and 4 hours. Try www.a1travel.com for flights.

Transit from Dalaman Airport to Yamac Villa and car hire are both essential. Transit is around £35 per person return and car hire starts at £25 per day.

“super holiday villa” These pictures let the villa down! I went with a large group of family, the villa was clean and well maintained, spacious but not to basic! Lovely art work on the wall the pools were lovely and cleaned almost daily. The area is also lovely. We could sit on the teracce until late midnight and swim in the pool (lighted in the night) and it does not disturb somebody because it have a optimal distance to the next villas! And in the mid of summer it was everywere difficult to enjoy the day because of the heat,but it was not so hot in the area where the villa yamac is - because of the mountains! In the Kitchen is everything you need for self catering of a large group and there are two wash maschines, which is very helpfull if you are there with 14 persons! I reccommend this villa to anybody who wished to have a fantasic holiday in a large group!

“Splendid house, wonderful views, an idyll for the escapist holidaymaker” Everything that you read on on the website is accurate and unexaggerated, so you know exactly what to expect. We visited Yamac in a group of 4 adults and the same number of teeenagers. Despite its remoteness, there was no problem keeping the young ones fully occupied as the shops, markets, beaches and restaurants are just a car ride away. The villa is extremely large, well proportioned and comfortable. A real find for those who want to relax in comfort in a magical setting away from the husstle & bustle of everyday life. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property and I intend returning and so too do the teenagers!
