Home description

Villa Martin has a spacious open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Each area opens onto the veranda and the pool/garden. Exterior lighting, barbeque and outdoor furniture help to enjoy the warm climate.
Three bedrooms each with balcony and mountain views. Onsuite and family bathroom all with shower. Air conditioning throughout keeps the villa cool during the hot summer months.
Surrounding Uzumlu within a short drive are beaches, nightlife, ancient Roman ruins, mountain scenery, gorges, adventure sports, Turkish baths, the list is endless but after each visit you can return to the peace of Uzumlu and luxury of the villa.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Warm and clear turquoise waters surround this coast line and its many islands. It is the perfect place for a beach holiday with scenic mountain views. The many boat trips can take you to the islands and quiet beaches. The mountains offer walks in the pine forests or extreme sports like paragliding from 6,000 feet or white water rafting through the gorges. The summer climate is dry and warm from April to October yet during the winter months snow is visible on the mountains.

Uzumlu area

Uzumulu is set in a valley surrounded by mountains covered in dense pine forests. It is an unspoilt traditional Turkish village with a market square that offers local produce, a wine bar, restaurants and shops.
The regular Dolmus can take you to Fethiye, Hisaronu, The Blue Lagoon , Calis Beach and many of the historical sites.

Fly to Dalaman. Uzumlu is 50 mins drive from airport.

Car hire available from www.oscarrentacar.com. These both offer pick up and drop off at airport or taxi only to/from airport. Airport transfer taxi approx £35.

Further details indoors:
A raised entrance hall leads down two steps to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area. This leads on to a comfortable spacious air conditioned lounge with tv, dvd, films, games and music provided.
There is a toilet/shower room off the hallway and stairway up to the first floor.
Each bedroom has a balcony and air conditioning. The master bedroom with king size bed has an onsuite and there is a family bathroom shared by the other two bedrooms.

Further details outdoors:
The pool area is equipped with loungers, parasols, table, chairs and kettle barbeque. There is a separate breakfast patio by the kitchen with views of the mountains.
Colourful flowers and plants fill the lawn/pool area.

Further details

The pool and garden is cleaned and maintained daily. There will be a change of linen and bath towels weekly and an extra set always available.
The pool is usually drained mid October to April/May depending on booking.

Conditions

Refundable breakages deposit of £200 required when balance due and returned within 14 days of booking completion.
No pets.
No single male groups of 4 or more

"Just arrived home after 2 weeks at Villa Martin,the villa is fantastic with breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and fields covered in red poppys and typical laid backTurkish village life.The only sound to be heard is that of the many birds and wildlife. The interior of the villa is beautiful and well laid out with everything you need for a comfortable & relaxing holiday, even a phrase book which we found invaluable. The villa is well situated away from the hustle and bustle of Fethiye but near enough to travel for a meal in the evening or day out on a sea taxi to some of the local islands.Most essential items can be purchased in the near by village or at the garage just before the village which never seems to close.Theres also a wine bar in the village. Shenay and Gucel the caretakers are a lovely hardworking couple who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, keep the villa,garden and pool clean and offer information and advice on the area. This was our first visit to Turkey and its beautiful,the people are really friendly and scenery is breathtaking with lots of little bays to visit.If youve got children they are welcome every where in Turkey. We`d recommend this villa to anyone its lovely."
