Situated in Tepe Uzumlu (top of Uzumlu) Villa Tia is a brand new luxury villa within its own grounds with large terrace area to sunbathe and covered area in which to enjoy relaxing in the shade or dining Al fresco. Villa Tia is about a two minute walk to the picturesque village of Uzumlu.
Once you walk through the door you will be impressed by the spacious open plan lounge and dining area in front of you and the amount of light that is due to the surrounding patio doors which lead onto the pool and terrace area.
From the hallway you walk down one step to the lounge area. On the same level as the hall you will find an inside dining area and fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. Also on the ground floor you will find a toilet/shower room.
From the marble stairs to the first floor you will find three double bedrooms of which the master is ensuite with a double shower and a further bathroom with corner bath. All bedrooms have access to balconies and are air conditioned. Each bedroom has everything you require to just unpack and relax and feel at home.
The second floor has a large family shower room, a twin bedded room and a double bedded room with single divan. This room also has a balcony in which to watch the fantastic sunsets over the mountains.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The bustling town and harbour of Fethiye is 18 Kilometres away from Uzumlu and can be reached by regular dolmus or by car.
The world renown resort of Olu Deniz 'the blue lagoon' with its sheltered beach and lagoon which is ideal for children and swimming, is a short distance away from Fethiye, as is nearby Hisaronu with its lively nightlife, clubs and restaurants.
Calis beach is 5km from Fethiye and is one of the prominent regions of entertainment, it can also be reached by water taxis from Fethiye Harbour. The shoreline is 6km long and is significant for their nesting turtles.(approximately 15mins drive from the villa)
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting. The hilltop Roman city of Cadianda is 20mins from the Villa
Uzumlu area
Villa Tia is ideally situated just behind the village centre and is within a 2 minute walk of the picturesque village of Uzumlu.
The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests and rugged hillsides, as Uzumlu is 500m above sea level the cool mountain breezes are more than welcome especially in the summer.
The traditional village of Uzumlu is a short walk away and has managed to retain all the natural charm and character of a traditional Turkish village and yet still has the convenience of a modern town like Fethiye which is just twenty minutes drive away.
Uzumlu has shops in order to buy local produce, a post office, restaurants, a wine bar, and a local market on Fridays. This relaxed village is ideal for those looking for a little peace and quiet, breathtaking scenery and the enchantment of rural life.
Uzumlu is a quiet rural area steeped in history and is ideal as a base for exploring the turkish countryside and the surrounding area. Perfect for walking holidays.
How to get there

We can arrange airport transfers for you. We also provide some essentials for you for your arrival. A full shop can be undertaken for you - please enquire when booking. All linen and towels are provided but not beach towels, please bring your own. For a 2 week stay you will have a bed linen and towel change mid way but not a full clean. For that special birthday, anniversary or any reason you want we can arrange for a chef to come to the villa and cook you a wonderful meal. He or she will do the shopping then prepare and serve the food to the table.
If you do not fancy hiring a car and driving yourselves we can arrange a mini bus or car, with your own driver, to take you where ever you want to visit, no need to rush, just spend as much time as you want at the local beauty spots. We can also arrange minibus hire/car hire for you. Also we can arrange any trips and excursions for you with return transfers from the villa (a small charge will be made for the transfers.) 24 hour helpline is provided - english speaking. Pool and garden maintained daily.
Conditions
All guests must have adequate travel insurance. A 25% deposit is required on booking, which is non refundable, the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday. A £250 breakage deposit is required when balance is due, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure ( subject to satisfactory property inspection ). Minor breakages such as a glass or plate etc can be replaced locally, if you would leave a few lira to cover the cost that will be appreciated. Smoking allowed outside only please.

Our holiday in turkey was extremely enjoyable. The small village of Uzumlu gives you a taste of real Turkey, the people are very friendly and always willing to stop and talk. The villa was perfect and had all the amenities required, it was very spacious and had enough room to accommodate two families. The holiday was great fun. the accommodation was very good, pool excellent. uzumlu is a quaint friendly little village which i would recommend. The idea of ordering your food prior to landing is a brilliant one, whcih would save time and effort early in the holiday. Would recommend the boat trip, Saklikent, Gocek and watching the paragliders land on Olu Deniz Beach. It was great fun haggling at the market too! The Boyle Family - August 2007.
