About the home
Villa Tia is a luxury villa within its own grounds with large terrace area to sunbathe and covered area in which to enjoy relaxing in the shade or dining Al fresco. For the more energetic there is a table tennis table on the terrace. Villa Tia is about a three minute walk to the picturesque village of Uzumlu. where you will find a range of restuarants, internet cafe, bakers and small shops to buy all of your essentials.
Once you walk through the door you will be impressed by the spacious open plan lounge and dining area in front of you and the amount of light that is due to the surrounding patio doors which lead onto the pool and terrace area.
From the hallway you walk down one step to the lounge area. On the same level as the hall you will find an inside dining area and fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. Also on the ground floor you will find a toilet/shower room.
From the marble stairs to the first floor you will find three double bedrooms of which the master is en suite with a double shower and a further bathroom with corner bath. All bedrooms have access to balconies and are air conditioned. Each bedroom has everything you require to just unpack and relax and feel at home.
The second floor has a large family shower room, a twin bedded room and a double bedded room with single divan. This room also has a balcony in which to watch the fantastic sunsets over the mountains.

We can arrange return airport transfers for you, either by car or minibus depending on number of people.
Transfers are arranged through our sister company Guide Tours who are a registered TURSAB member and are fully insured.
We can also provide some essentials for you for your arrival. A full shop can be undertaken for you - please enquire when booking.
All linen and towels are provided, but not beach towels please bring your own.. For a 2 week stay you will have a bed linen and towel change mid way but not a full clean. A Full clean is available at an extra cost - please enquire when booking
If you do not fancy hiring a car and driving yourselves we can arrange a mini bus or car, with your own driver, to take you where ever you want to visit, no need to rush, just spend as much time as you want at the local beauty spots. We can also arrange minibus hire/car hire for you either for collection at the airport or delivered to the villa.
Also we can arrange any trips and excursions for you with return transfers from the villa (a small charge will be made for the transfers.) Trips and Excursions are provided through our sister company Guide Tours. These can be booked prior to arrival and you will receive discount on all trips. Book two or more prior to arrival and receive the Olu Deniz Boat trip for half price - A great day out. For details please just ask.

Conditions
All guests must have adequate travel insurance.
A 25% deposit is required on booking, which is non refundable, the balance is due 6 weeks prior to the holiday.
A £200 breakage deposit is required when balance is due, to be refunded within 1 week of your departure
( subject to satisfactory property inspection ).
Minor breakages such as a glass or plate etc can be replaced locally, if you would leave a few lira to cover the cost that will be appreciated.
Smoking allowed outside only please.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
The bustling town and harbour of Fethiye is 18 Kilometres away from Uzumlu and can be reached by regular dolmus or by car. Fethiye is well worth a visit seeped in history, modern shops, large supermarkets and a long harbour full of restuarants and bars to sit and people watch or just enjoy the scenery. There is a large market on Tuesday where you can buy all your fresh fruit and veg, designer (!) clothes, or why not sit for a rest and enjoy a drink and a pancake?
The world renown resort of Olu Deniz 'the blue lagoon' with its sheltered beach and lagoon which is ideal for children and swimming, is a short distance away from Fethiye, as is nearby Hisaronu with its lively nightlife, clubs and restaurants.
Calis beach is 5km from Fethiye and is one of the prominent regions of entertainment, it can also be reached by water taxis from Fethiye Harbour. You will find a large array of restuarants offering internation cuisine or why not sit, relax and watch the stunning sunsets.(approximately 15mins drive from the villa)
Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting. The hilltop Roman city of Cadianda is 20mins from the Villa. - well worth a visit
The Uzumlu area
Villa Tia is ideally situated just behind the village centre and is within a 2 minute walk of the picturesque village of Uzumlu.
The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests and rugged hillsides, as Uzumlu is 500m above sea level the cool mountain breezes are more than welcome especially in the summer.
The traditional village of Uzumlu has managed to retain all the natural charm and character of a traditional Turkish village and yet still has the convenience of a modern town like Fethiye which is just twenty minutes drive away.
Uzumlu has shops in order to buy local produce, a post office, a selection of good restuarants, a bakery in order to buy your frsh bread every day, an internet cafe, or why not try the turkish tradition and enjoy a shave at the local barber! There is also a local market on Fridays, in order to buy the local produce fruit and veg.
This relaxed village is ideal for those looking for a little peace and quiet, breathtaking scenery and the enchantment of rural life. With the town of Fethiye and Calis within easy distance, providing you with the best of both worlds.
Uzumlu is a quiet rural area steeped in history and is ideal as a base for exploring the turkish countryside and the surrounding area. Perfect for walking holidays.

Fly to Dalaman Airport where we can arrange a minibus or taxi transfer for you depending on the number of people, when you have exited the terminal building their will be someone to meet you to take you to the villa in Yesil Uzumlu which we can arrange for you at a reasonable price. Alternatively we can arrange a hire car for you either collection from the airport or delivered direct to the villa at a time convenient for you.

Our group has stayed at Villa Tia for the past 4 years and we are always blown away by the stunning views from the villa. The accommodation is superbly maintained, the outside and pool area has plenty of shade all day long. The villa is only a short walk from the centre of the village where there are some nice restaurants/bars and small local shops. The villa will comfortably sleep 12, and the outside seating area also accommodates this number for meals. The service you get from the managing agents Karen & Pete is second to none. Daily pool maintenance, weekly laundry and organising trips and transport arrangements, they will even do a shop for you so fridge is stocked before arrival. They are always available for advice and give you tips on getting around. The villa is situated on the side of valley (hence the stunning views) and has a short steep road leading up, this may not be suitable for those who have walking issues. Although the kids never seem to have any trouble! Uzumlu is a typical turkish village so dont expect bars/clubs etc you will get in the more touristy areas, you really are living amongst the locals who are friendly will invite you into their homes for some Turkish hospitality. The local dolmus is great for getting around too, only be prepared to stand on the busy ones - they pack them full!!! Just returned from Villa Tia where we had a very peaceful and relaxing 2 weeks. There were eight adults sharing and the provided for all our needs, excellant swimming pool with ample comfortable sunbeds and parasolls. Very clean and well maintained by Karen & Pete, who were very helpful when required i.e. local travel, shopping tips etc.. The only downside if you can call it that is the very steep approach to the villa. Overall wonderful holiday enjoyed by all. A perfect place to unwind. There were 8 adults 1 child and 3 babies in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us. The villa is spacious and well furnished. The outside area has lots of space to sit around the pool and is great for dining. It has lovely views of the valley and mountains. Karen and Pete who look after the villa are great and always there if we needed anything. The village is easy to walk to although there is a bit of a steep climb up to the villa but it was manageable even with all the pushchairs and babies in our party. the village has a bakery, great for buying fresh bread in the morning. There are a few restaurants but I would recommend The Grape Garden. They were so welcoming and the food was great too. If you fancy a full English breakfast you get loads for your money and you get real bacon and pork sausages. The nearest supermarkets are about 20mins drive away. We did find food a bit expensive especially meats. If you like your bacon take your own as one pack cost £15! Overall a great stay.
