About the home
Set in the small peaceful hamlet, 2km from the nearest supermarket and boulangerie. Booleen provides the perfect location with its fairly central position, to experience France and the French life style any time of the year, especially as it has gas central heating. We also own the cottage next door called Cashel ref 156160, that will sleep 4, but can do 5 and is ideal if you are holidaying with friends but want your own facilities.

By virtue of its fairly central position, it is an ideal base from which to explore the best that Brittany offers.
Local beauty spots include the Lac de Guerlédan, a 400 hectare man-made lake on which sailing, fishing and other watersports take place, and, adjacent to this, one of the few remaining medieval forests, Forêt de Quénécan.
Nearby towns of interest are Quintin with its 17th century château, ruins and ramparts and varied restaurants, also Pontivy with its medieval streets and houses and the Nantes-à-Brest canal.
Further afield, towards Le Mont St. Michel and St. Malo, is the well-known historic and beautifully preserved town of Dinan.
For sea lovers, the north coast is only 30 minutes away by car with the Emerald Coast, famous for its long, sandy beaches, to the east of St. Brieuc and, to the west, the beautiful Rose Granite coastline with small unspoilt beaches and rocky headlands.
The south coast is also easily accessible. The Gulf of Morbihan, is about one hour's drive.
The Uzel pres l'Oust area
A short drive through country lanes brings you to Bosmélèac with its lake, beach, dam and waterfall which are popular with both locals and visitors.
