Seville is one of the most romantic, historical and cosmopolitan cities in the heart of Andalucia and offers easy access to Costa De La Luz, and the most popular Sherry Wine cellars in Jerez region.
The average annual temperature is 24ºC. The average maximum temperature is 45ºC. The coldest month is January and the average minimum temperature is 8ºC.The sun and a cloudless sky are predominant the most of the time.
Utrera area
The town is of great historical interest. Utrera is considered the cradle of the fighting bull, and there are many famous cattle farms in its municipal district.
The area is known for numerous festivities, particularly the fair, which is celebrated during the days before and after the day of Utrera's patron saint: the Virgin of Consolación. This fiesta attracts many people from all over Andalusia and Spain as a whole.
Utrera is also known for the mostachón, a kind of small flattened cake made with sugar and cinnamon.
How to get there
Located approximately 25mins from Seville Airport, Utrera is easy to reach by car or train. Seville airport is serviced by Ryanair, Iberia, Vueling etc. Jerez airport is approximately 45mins from Utrera. Flights to both airports are from London Stansted, Heathrow and other UK and European airports. Avis, Crown and Hertz cars are available from the airport. The train will take you from Seville city centre to Utrera city centre.
