On an ancient stronghold in the city of Utrecht Sonnenborgh – museum & observatory located. Built in 1853, the observatory is more than a museum. Visitors can take a tour of the building and the stronghold dating from 1552, but also take a look through the telescopes of the observatory.

Aboriginal Art Museum

The museum has a remarkable collection of paintings and sculptures of the Aborigines, the original inhabitants of Australia.

The Lange Viestraat, the Oudegracht, the Lange Elisabethstraat and the Steenweg are the bussiest shopping with branches of the well-known stores. The Beehive is located in the shopping center La Vie, in the Long Viestraat.

The Oudkerkhof the Schoutenstraat the Zadelstraat, Line Market and the Old Canal are special shopping with a variety of shops.

The atmospheric Twijnstraat is the oldest shopping street of Utrecht with many antiques, curios and second hand clothes.
