Relax and unwind.

This is a working beef cattle farm and in spring the new calves arrive adding to the beauty of this green valley. You may take a guided walk in our 250 acres, view the roman camp, the views of the Sugarloaf and Raglan Castle, you can see for miles on a clear day. See wild ducks, woodpeckers, kingfisher, firecrest and more small native birds.

Follow the country walk signs with streams and gentle rolling fields, or visit our local historic churches of St John and St Jerome and the ancient screen, which are right next door to our to the land.

A few minutes from the famous Roman town of Usk. A short drive will take you to Chepstow, Tintern Abbey and the Wye valley, Monmouth, Newport and Cardiff.

With a thirty year history of hotel and catering hospitality and a love of the countryside, we have evolved these 11th—15th Century barns, bull pens, dairy and outbuildings into six luxury cottage lets.

IN THE acres of rolling green fields where we farm our aberdeen angus cattle you may join me to take a stroll or sit and relax in the courtyards with a glass of wine and watch the fish jumping. Stay on your own or bring friends to another cottage

Set in south east wales just over the Severn bridge from England,the ancient town of Usk was originally occupied by Romans around 55 ad in order to cross the river , they later moved to Caerleon to be nearer the mouth of the estuary, where they built baths and an amphitheatre.

Usk famous for its castle built by the declare family, and said to have been a wedding present from Henry VIII to Catherine Parr, is a quaint little town famed for its river, salmon fishing, floral tributes and winner of wales in bloom, its full of fine eateries and independent shops.

Monmouth home of Rolls creator of aeronautical and motor engines again steeped in history.

Farmers markets are a popular place for locals to buy produce.

The annual open gardens is also a very popular event.

Chepstow with its medieval castle and Tintern Abbey

Usk show ground is nearby along with usk gliding club and much more.

Over 15 golf courses including the 2010 RYDER CUP course at celtic manor.

"Wonderful stay in a beautiful location"

Stayed as a group of 8 adults in May 2014. Ample space for our group. Ideal for a rural stay and close enough to Newport should you wish to the train to Cardiff. We would loved to have had better weat… More
