Our home is a deceptively spacious, comfortable and well equipped villa. The perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday on Menorca. The property is ideal for families and couples holidaying together seeking an away from it all break. It sleeps a MAXIMUM of 6 Adults and 2 Children (Our bunk beds are not suitable for adults). We are very competitively priced for the space and quality our home offers, please check our Trip Advisor reviews for guests comments. There is No Commission to pay on our prices.
We have an upside down layout, which means that the open plan living area is upstairs with all 3 bedrooms downstairs. Marble effect stairs lead down to the bedrooms, this layout helps to keep the downstairs area cooler during the summer months. There is also a private courtyard to the front of the property with a small rockery garden area and barbecue, to the rear there is a private garden with gate which leads to the communal gardens and large (approx 72 sqm in total) swimming pool. It is one of the largest pools in the area.
The location is great if you just want to chill for a week or two, but is also ideal if you want to hire a car to explore this beautiful island.

The Balearic Islands region
Menorca is a very green island very different to the Costas of Southern Spain, this is due to its temperate climate. The holiday season runs from the beginning of May through to the end of October. June, July and August are normally the hottest months and the busiest. June is a glorious month to visit as the wild flowers on the island are in bloom and the temperature is warm and pleasant, ideal if you have small children. Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands and is also known for being the least developed with more beaches than either Majorca or Ibiza. It has many beautiful beaches, some only accessible by boat.
Places well worth a visit:
Monte Toro with its beautiful church is in the centre of Menorca, it is the highest point on the island and on a clear day you will see the most fantastic panoramic views of the entire island and all its coastline, if it's clear enough you may also be able to spot the island of Majorca.
Mahon the capital of Menorca, has one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Good value boat (glass bottom) trips around the harbour are available and last for just over one hour. Gin is made on Menorca and you will find the main Gin Factory down by the harbour opposite the Ferry terminal. At night Mahon twinkles with all its restaurants and bars, plus all the beautiful yachts moored in the harbour, a stunning place to spend the evening.
Ciutadella is the old capital of Menorca and is very pretty, it has a lovely harbour, narrow streets and is a great place to visit.
Arenal d'en Castell
Arenal d'en Castell is a favourite resort with families and couples wanting a relaxing holiday. The horseshoe bay with its gently shelving soft sand beach is extremely safe, It's ideal for small children and non-swimmers. Nightlife is low key and revolves around restaurants and bars. The beach is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the villa. A wooden walkway has now been built at the back of the beach to aid people with buggies etc.
Coves Noves is an extension of Arenal and has its own bars, restaurants, bicycle hire and Tennis Club. Our nearest supermarket is in the Coves Noves main area.
The old fishing village of Na Macaret with its small sandy beach and Addaia with its marina are also within easy reach.
During the summer months there is a small road train which runs a regular service from Arenal through Coves Noves and on to Na Macaret (and return) picking up passengers from designated stops on its way. This is a lovely leisurely way to see more of the surrounding area if you do not have a car.
There is also a regular public bus service from Arenal to Mahon during the summer. Menorca buses are bright red and yellow so are easy to spot.

"Relaxing holiday enjoying time together with the family"
Really loved this apartment - lovely view of the sea and the pool was excellent. Lots of room and very clean. Had a really good time and the teenagers enjoyed it too. A good place to stay in Menorca and a good location for the local shop and bars. The kids would have liked Wifi but then we wouldn't have spent time together talking as a family so it was a bonus for me that there wasn't any and we could always "connect" at the local bars.
Thanks for the lovely review, this is just a note to say that we intend having wifi installed ready for the 2015 season.

"Totally honest description"
Clean, pleasant, quiet pool, adequate facilities close by - the apartment and location was exactly as described. We went for a week with my daughter, her partner and her 4 year old son. The pool was perfect having a separate small swallow section meant we could all enjoy the water safely and it was extremely quiet - we had it completely to ourselves on several occasions. Having a 4 year old with us meant we choose to eat at the apartment most nights which was easy - the kitchen was well equipped and the spacious dining areas made for lovely meal times. We didn't get the best of weather (a few rainy days) but we hardly noticed as the apartment had a great selection of dvd's and videos to keep us entertained. It is in a quiet residential location so if your looking for a rocking nightlife this probably isn't the place for you - although there are a few bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Finally the owner and their management company were an absolute pleasure to deal with - allowing us to be flexible with our departure time so we didn't have to spend the day with our suitcases, providing clear accurate information and responding to our service requests quickly. Overall a great place to take a family holiday.

would reccomend this accomodation to any one, familys or couples. I have never been been any where that is so like home from home, every thing you could want from electrical to DVD's for the kids while your getting ready. plenty of room up and down stairs, high standards thru' out cleaning etc.Easy to see pat and steve have put a lot of thought into making your stay top class. Beautiful gardens with large pool, plenty to do with or with out car as there is a very good an reliable bus service.Would definately love to go back thankyou pat and steve.

I stayed here for a week with my extended family and had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious, clean and very, very well equipped. It has everything you could possibly need and much more - the best we have ever stayed in. It is in a quiet area but very close to shops and the beach. The garden and pool are fantastic for all the family to use. Pat was very helpful and informative throughout, a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely book again next time we travel to Menorca.

"It was good. quite and relaxing"
A bit too quite for us and from our point of view needed a car due to the raised elevation. Not much to do in the evenings with out travelling then limited. Disappointed not more food markets but this could be the time of year we went. The villa was good, clean and plenty of videos, CD and DVD. The pool was clean and in good repair. Overall the villa and the area around was clean and tidy and in good repair

"A very nice, well equipped villa in a quiet location"
We had a lovely holiday, which was due in no small way to this well appointed villa. It is obviously someone's home and much better than a normal holiday rental. There are lots beach mats, loungers, buckets and spades etc available. The balcony is ideal for family meals and our 1yr old grand daughter was fascinated by the birds in the surrounding trees. We had the swimming pool to ourselves most of the time, an ideal area for sunbathing if you want a day off from the beach.

"ticks all the boxes for a young family"
Exactly as stated in the advertisment - plenty of equipment in the kitchen, lots of hot water and good size fridge/freezer. A good local supermarket selling British products if needed as well as plenty of fresh bread , fruit and veg. We were right at the end of the season and things were shutting up on the island but Arenal still had a hotel, restuarant and cafe open. As we had bad weather for the second week some additional heating would have been useful. Suitable for active couples or family.
Thanks for a good review. Your comments on heating are noted and we will ensure more heaters are on site for 2013.
