It is a short stroll from the tourist area of Paphos with its beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The downstairs patio is facing the pool with table and chairs. Both bedrooms have balconies also with table and chairs. There are personal sunbeds available. The owner tries to keep the arrival and departure times as flexible as possible to accommodate guests. Unfortunately experience has shown me that I require a £100 payment just before arrival to ensure against damages. Of course this payment will be returned to you in full immediately on your return home if appropriate. I apologies for this charge.

The Paphos District
Paphos has a municipal beach with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.
There is the old fortress by the harbour and lighthouse. Close by are the roman mosaics and ancient Tomb of the Kings (the underground tombs, many of which date back to the 4th century BC, are carved out of solid rock, and are thought to have been the burial sites of Paphitic aristocrats and high officials).
Paphos old town & market are a short bus ride away or 20 minute walk. Excellent value is the €3 daily bus ticket that will take you all over the Paphos area.
Many excursions are possible from Paphos - from snorkelling trips on glass bottom boats to mini cruise. Also nearby are quad bikes for hire, go-karting, bird-park, fishing trips and a large water park. There are some excellent golf courses in and around the Paphos area.
The villa is a 20 minute walk to Paphos harbour from the villa with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along the way. The number 03/603 bus pass close by the villa which can also take you to the harbour and old town bus terminus
Just around the corner from the villa is a friendly local restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with free wifi/satellite tv. There are two local shops open 7 days a week just a few doors away from the restaurant for all your day-to-day needs.

"An Enjoyable Stay"
We very much enjoyed our stay at Hera House. The owner, Kath was very helpful and the house is in a good location. The pool is lovely and there is plenty of space for everyone, the courtyard setting is ideal for families and couples alike to relax and enjoy. We will return if we can.

"Fantastic property, convenient location"
8 Hera House has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in Kato Paphos and the booking process was excellent from day one. Kath is an excellent owner who always made sure that I had the right information at the right time. The property is compact and functional and includes all the necessary equipment and furniture required for a relaxing stay in Kato Paphos. There is a selection of books and DVDs but who will be sitting in watching films when it is 25 degrees in the evening by the pool!? Ceiling fans are a godsend in the warm nights - they provide adequate air circulation in order to get a decent night's sleep before the exertions of the next day's pool side lounging or whatever activities take your fancy. I travelled with two daughters (20 and 26) and they were both totally happy with the facilities as well. Even though you are in a complex of a number of other similar properties you still have your own privacy and, often, sole use of the pool. Kath organised the airport transfer with Steve's Taxis. Spend the 30 euros (27 plus tip) to ensure you are not worrying about buses and finding the place. On arrival book the return transfer. The walk in to the town and harbour area is about 15-20 minutes once you find the short cut. Restaurants a plenty there to suit all tastes. Forget the pizza places - you are in Cyrpus! So try the Cypriot meals and things that are a little different. Ate twice at The Moorings - good, sensible food served by attentive and friendly waiters/waitresses. Have the fish meze at Theo's. You can sometimes see the evening meals being brought in from the docking boat! For a meal closer to the apartment Pambi's is a good choice. No airs and graces - just good, sensible food. Will definitely return to Cyrpus mid June again one year and will have Kath' s property as the first port of call for our accommodation.

We stayed at Hera House Zeus Gardens in July 2013 and everything lived up to our expectations. The house is well equipped and very clean. The cooking facilities are great. We made breakfast and dinner in the house and we ate out each evening. I would highly recommend La Piazza restaurant on the sea front. The accommodation is in a peaceful location and yet not too far from all the night life. We hired a car and went up into the Troodos mountains for the day, highly recommended. We also travelled around to some lovely quiet sandy beaches. I would recommend this accommodation to families, couples or groups of friends.
