The Paphos District
There is a vast range of activities, places of interest, international cuisine, a variety of entertainment for everyone in and around the Paphos region. For the budding shoppers amongst you Paphos is very proud of its new shopping centre, Kings Avenue Mall, opened November 2013. An exciting and vibrant place to shop with numerous UK outlets available, eat, or watch a film at the 6 screen cinema.
For the sporty amongst you there are many activities including, water sports, golf, go-karting, paintball, horse riding or just walking around.
Paphos is steeped in history and there are many routes marked out for you to walk around and take in all about time gone by and how different life is today.
If you hire a car, you can go further afield into the countryside, the small villages in and around Paphos. See the locals going about their daily chores, tending their goats, the elders sipping coffee by the roadside. Best of all visit a taverna and try a typical Cypriot meze - you'll feel like a local yourself.
Universal is approx 15 mins walk away from the Harbour area, with its varied and numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, and shops. A new Mall is due to open Nov 2013, with a variety of local, and uk shopping outlets.

From the Castle end of the Harbour there is the main bus terminus, which for a small charge you can get to the surrounding areas, of interest.. Tomb of the Kings Archaeological site, Coral Bay with its Strip, and variety of bars, restaurants, and cafes.
There are 2 beaches in Paphos, the Municipal, and Faros beach, both have cafe, bars and toilet facilities.
