About the home

The house has been recently renovated and has a large conservatory and sun room. It is well fitted out with all the requirements for a self-catering holiday.

The house is very close to the sea and to water amenities. It is an ideal spot for walking and the house has a large safe garden very suitable for children as it is away from any traffic.

The modern house is fitted with solar panels for hot water and the house is insulated to a very high standard. K glass double glazing high insulation of top quality. Oak wooden flooring throughout downstairs and pine flooring throughout upstairs. Traditional woodburning stove (clearview).

There is a large garden and large garage/store. A large decking at the front of the house with long views to the sea and the landscape.

West cork is a well known holiday spot with a mild climate. There are local historical places to visit including the drombeg stone circle located near to Glandore.

The local village of Union Hall is an active fishing village with its own fish shop, store, coffee shop and various pubs and restaurants. Boat hire is available locally. The main market town is skibbereen eight miles away. This has a farmers market every saturday morning. Near to the house within walking distance is Reen pier, Whale watching trips leave from the pier and Kayaking lessons and hire is also available.
