Penthouse on the Rocks is a grand villa nestled on a cliff face, overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is constructed in stone, coral, wood and glass. It is located a 100m from Unawatuna beach. The surrounding jungle creates a sublime ambiance, where monkeys and birds abound. The landscape gardens present a vast variety of tropical flowers.
The villa is a perfect blend of luxury and Eco styles.
Consisting of a vast open plan, the Penthouse apartment has panoramic views from all rooms. The furnishings are hand made of wood, with a unique vision. The stone bathroom is impressive. The grand balcony is the best place to enjoy the surroundings.
The architecture and furniture are all of original design, based on natural elements.

The Penthouse viewing tower overlooks all of Unawatuna and the hinterland, offering a magnificent view of the sunrises and sunsets.

The gardens have a unique style, filled with tropical flowers. You can see there a lot of animals like the monkeys, lizards, birds and other wild life in the back drop of the ocean.

The Sri Lanka Southern Coast region
The temperature is daily around 30°c, with occasional rain.
At 4 km from Unawatuna beach is Galle Fort, an ancient Dutch Fort, full of history , beautiful shops (gems, antiques, traditional craftsmen), museums and restaurants. In Galle, you can also see the traditional fruit, vegetable and fish markets.
Koggala's vast lake is a must for nature and bird lovers (7 km). Nearby, you can visit the stilt fishermen, the turtle farm and a spice garden.
Tea plantations and factories can be visited as well as the natural Rainforest.
The management can recommend and arrange transport, if required.
The Unawatuna area
On the beach road, there are numerous places offering gems, woodcrafts, clothing, cooking classes.
You can enjoy ayuveric massage clinics and practise yoga.
In the village, as well as on the beach, you will experience a vast choice of restaurants, from Asian to European to vegetarian cuisines.
You will enjoy the sunsets. The night life will make you dance on the beach.
But most of all, every day, you will lay in the sun, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, dive or surf to your hearts content.
