Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Rose Cottage is a 17th Century thatched cottage in one of North Devon's loveliest villages where many of the cottages are thatched and just a 2 minute walk from the Grove Inn, an award winning thatched and beamed pub.
The cottage is also close to cycling on the Tarka Trail and excellent walking on Exmoor and Dartmoor. The North Devon beaches are just a short drive from the cottage and offer safe swimming, great walks and surfing. The local River Tawe is also famous for its trout and salmon fishing.
The cottage has been carefully restored and combines period charm with modern convenience. The main open plan living room is very cosy with low ceilings, comfortable sofas and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. It is tastefully furnished and well specified with underfloor heating in the bathroom, an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher and a washing machine. It also has a charming courtyard garden at the front of the cottage enclosed by a hedge.
There is plenty of free parking in the village close to the cottage.
