Directions to Swan Grange
From Barnstaple take the A377 towards Exeter.
Continue along this road passing Murco Petrol station on your right (about 0.5 mile outside Umberleigh)
Just outside Umberleigh turn RIGHT on the B3227 towards Great Torrington. Continue through Atherington on B3227.
Go down first steep hill and back up again, down second steep hill, at the bottom of this hill is Langridgeford cross-roads (do not turn here), just as you start to go back up hill, (approximately l00yrds past cross roads) turn LEFT into small lane.
Follow this lane, after approximately 1 mile you will pass two cottages on your right. Approximately 400yrds past cottages turn RIGHT down small lane. Follow this lane, after approximately 250 yrds road will turn sharp left and then sharp right, the entrance to SWAN GRANGE will be found on your left.
NOTE:
This lane goes to a dead end; if you end up in farmers yard you have gone past Swan Grange entrance.
