The Ada Bojana region

Ada Bojana is a national park and nature reserve - an island with the river Bojana running on both sides and enveloped in subtropical and Mediterranean vegetation.The golden sand beaches run for kilometers while downriver the bungalows of local fishermen give character to the area.One of the most attractive places on the Montenegrin coast. The island is accesible by a bridge and is very popular with nudists ! The temperaures in summer mid July reach 25 degrees celcius with about 262 hours of sunshine.Sea temperatures reach 28 degrees. Although the wind picks up in the afternoons the water is shallow and easy for bathing with no big waves to worry about !

Ulcinj area

Ulcinj is a town brimming with History and the remnants of cultures such as Greek,Roman,Illyrian,Byzantine,Slavic and Turkish all of whom have left their mark in the ruins and old fort on the coast.It is a picturesque town,famous beach resort and rehabilitation centre; the sand of the beaches are rich in salt and iodine which help with rheumatic disorder.The small streets of the town are graced with local markets,shops,cafes,bars and restaurants.
Nearby the Sasko Lake is one of the richest hunting and fishing grounds in Montenegro but also an Ornithologists "Eldorado".The area is a fabulous combination of mountains,rivers,lakes and seaside.

How to get there

By plane to TIVAT ( 70KM ) or PODGORICA (60KM)or DUBROVNIK (85KM). Pick up can be arranged from any of these Airports but rental advised from Dubrovnik ! JAT airlines to Podgorica and Tivat.Also Croatian airlines,BA and Thompson.
