The cottage is in the centre of the village with trains, buses, pub, with pub fayre, art gallery and gift shop with cafe, and convenience shop all within 2 minutes walking distance, the beach can be reached via a 10 minute picturesque walk that follows the river to the sea, crossing over the railway line and winding its way to he shore.
All rooms have sea views except for the two smaller bedrooms that overlook the river and the sunsets are quite spectacular. In the winter you can sip wine and watch them in the warmth and comfort of the conservatory and the summer the small but perfect garden and patio offer the perfect view point. Smokers are welcome providing they refrain from smoking within the house. We have a good internet connection and freeview satelite TV is available.

Please note the following details that relate to enquirers who may require specific facilities in relation to mobility. The garden area is level and not at all hilly, it does have two steps to the raised lawn area without bannisters but there are no steps within the patio area. It is necessary to navigate one shallow step from the conservatory to the garden. All of the bedrooms are situated upstairs and there are no downstairs bathroom facilitiies.
We have a one bedroom with a double bed, a double room with two singles and a bedroom with a very robust bunk bed, the top bunk would easily accommodate a weight of 10 stone.
The Lounge has a three and a two seater settee, with three easy chairs in the conservatory where the dining table is located, the dining table will comfortably seat 8. There is also a smaller drop leaf table in the inner hallway/room.

Conditions
Unfortunately we can only accept bookings from families, or adult married couples/partners, groups of single sex, young adults cannot be accommodated.
Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 15% of the fee.
The balance of payment, together with a refundable deposit of £100.00 for each week booked, must be made 30 days prior to the commencement of the holiday.
The property will be available from 4.00 pm on the first Saturday of the booking and must be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure.
Sibrwd operates a no smoking policy within the building, however smoking is permissible in the garden and patio area.

Within the Snowdonia National Park the surrounding scenery is without doubt breathtaking. Barmouth, Tywyn and Aberdovey can easily be reached after a short journey via the train, road or bus, and little further on Maccynlleth, Harlech and Portmadoc are easily accessible.
The Dysynni Valley offers some of the most wonderful views in the are and is perfect for walkers, climbers and birdwatchers.
The Tywyn / Llwyngwril area
Llwyngwril is a small coastal village, in the centre is a hump back bridge which crosses over the river Gwril, although small it has an art gallery and gift shop which includes a cafe, a children's playground, and of course the local pub which is the heart of the village providing good pub grub and quizzes and often live entertainment.
The nearest shopping area is Fairbourne a five minute drive away, the small old fashioned block of shops includes a green grocers which stocks a great deal of local produce, an excellent butchers who also stocks bread, cheese and cakes, newsagents, two small supermarkets and a post office. There is a fish and chip shop, eat in or out and if you like Indian food an excellent restaurant with staff that go out of their way to make your meal a special occassion. Larger supermarkets can be found in Tywyn and Dollgelau, both a driving distance of about 9 miles.

Llwyngwril beach has some sand but it is primarily a rock pool beach, however a ten minute car drive will take you to Fairbourne and its mile long expanse of pure sand castle beach, and all in a short walking distance to Sibrwd.
