Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 4
Set in a stunning location Llonydd provides a home for a holiday to remember. From the patio area and decking you can sit listening to the waves crashing on the shore. To the accompaniment of birdsong you will relax taking in the fabulous view along the beaches of the North Wales coast to Snowdon in the distance. There is even ( for the more adventurous) a walk along the private cliff path to the secluded shingle beach below.
Llonydd was converted from an old farm building and is constructed from local stone and slate.
From the comfort of the lounge you can see west to the open sea of Cardigan Bay.
It is furnished in a country style and decorated in tranquil sea shades.

The North Wales region
The Gulf Stream bathes this coastline in warm air and though the high mountains may be shrouded in mist, from the advantage of Rola cottages where the mountain rise hasn’t had chance to cool the air to cloud, the view is splendid.
The atmospheric Castell y Bere, a ruined castle sitting atop a rocky outcrop in the Dysinni valley is nearby. A mediaeval church at Llangelynin and prehistoric settlements with standing stones above Llwyngwril define the history of the area.
Llwyngwyril village one mile away, has a shingle beach, church, pub, railway stop, post office, grocery store, coffee shop and art gallery.
Fairbourne has a sandy beach, dunes, shops and pubs
A ten minute drive to Tywyn brings supermarkets, banks, shops, pubs, promenade, cinema, leisure centre doctor, and fuel.

"Perfect for what we wanted and more"
Stayed here at the end of November 2013 with my Mum, visiting my partner's family, who live nearby. We needed a base that was self catering and we could come and go as we pleased. We stayed in Ll… More

"Great view, lovely cottage"

"A loverly cottage"
We arrived at the cottage during one of the worst winter storms for many years. The Railway line and sea defences having been destroyed at Tywyn which is several miles away. The cottage is one of three eahc with their own gardens that overlook the sea. The cottage was found to be well appointed , well furnished with excellent bathroom and kitchen. Good comfortable beds. The owner has installed satellite broadband internet which is available to visitors on request. It was slighly poorly on our visit but can achieve 20mbps. There are several nice beaches within a easy drive. A Railway line runs at the perimeter of the garden. There is a path to the beach via an appointed crossing, but its not suitable for the faint hearted following the recent storm damage. Higly recommended and no complaints. We intend to visit again in June

"Fabulous cottage in truly beautiful location"
Llonydd is a fantastic cottage. The sea views from the kitchen, living room and 2 of the bedrooms make it special anyway but everything about the cottage was great. The rooms were all of a good size (… More

We loved this place.
The location was fabulous – away from it all, so quiet and peaceful with fantastic views. It was a joy to get up each morning and look out of the bedroom window directly on to the open sea.
The house was really well equipped. Usually in holiday cottages it is impossible to make a proper meal because you don't have everything you need but that was not the case, here. Lighting the log fire every evening was lovely and the living room is really cosy.
There is a path down to the beach but there had been so much rain as to make it unsafe so we only made it half way down before deciding to go back up again – I nearly slid over the side twice! In dry weather I think it would be fine to use.
We would definitely return, here.

"Isolation, Stunning Views, Well equipped, Highly Recommend It"
Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Excellent location away from it all. We maintained property and grounds with an excellent path down to the beach which is magical. The perfect place to get away from it all.

"Cosy cottage in a fantastic location"
Excellent location, comfortable beds, log fire, great walks, and your own virtually private beach what more could you ask for? There was also useful information on where to go and where to eat locally which we so often find missing in many propoerties. As soon as we left we resolved to go back again very soon.
