About the home

Sea Watch is a beautiful 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment overlooking the sea and Cullercoats bay and has been furnished to a high standard. The open plan kitchen/living area has a modern well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, cooker, electric ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. Dining table and seating for four adults and a highchair if required.

The lounge has a 40 " T.V with freeeview a DVD player, internet access with wi-fi. Its perfectly situated for the beach, seafront, bars and restaurants. The metro station is only a five minute walk away and will take you into Newcastle city centre. Bus stop is also only 5 minutes away. Its ideal for families or couples with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

The Northern England / Northumberland region

Newcastle City centre is close by and with its shops, bars ,restaurants,museums and galleries. Access to the city can be via car / taxi / or the metro station is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Ideal if you are working in the city centre.

Europes largest shopping mall Metro Centre is a 20 minute car journey and has ample free car parking.
The beautiful Northumbrian coastline boasts many attractions Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses, Holy Island, Farne Islands.

Hadrians Wall

The Tynemouth / Cullercoats area

Tynemouth has many restaurants, bars and coffee shops and weekly markets.The Priory, which has recently hosted concerts with Rhianna and Beverley Knight performing. Also the Blue Reef aquarium, which has over 40 living species of sea-life on show. There is a boating lake and crazy golf. Longsands has an award winning beach which is famous for its surfing and windsurfing.

Cullercoats bay is well known for its pristine sandy beach which is very popular with families. The piers have undergone a restoration project to conserve the north east coastline. The bay area also has plenty of eateries and bars from which to admire the views!!!

Whitley Bay is also only a short walk away which has plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, skating rink and a waves leisure pool complex.

If driving you go along the main A1058 (Coast Road) towards Tynemouth then onto the sea front and head towards Cullercoats, apartment is located just after the coffee shop and restaurants, opposite Sea Watch House

“Warm, cosy and very convenient” Quick and helpful communications with the owner. Clean and very attractive decor ( a seaside-lovers paradise!). Wonderful to sit and view the ever changing sea views.Great for more mature and less agile relatives as warm, with easily controlled heating, all on one level with a walk in shower etc. Suitable if relying on public transport too as the bus to Tynemouth and Whitley Bay ran every 15 minutes from a bus stop 5 mins walk away and the metro for the city centre only about 8 mins walk away. Shops, cafes and take- aways also very good and convenient.

“Very comfortable and in a great location” With two double bedrooms and two bathrooms this apartment is ideal for a family or two couples. The kitchen and sitting room are comfortable, compact and well equipped and there's plenty of free parking. It's also in a fabulous location with great views over Cullercoats bay. It is only a short walk from the local shops, restaurants and Metro station (25 minutes to the centre of Newcastle), an easy walk into Tynemouth and provides convenient access to the main roads up the Northumberland coast. This really is a lovely apartment in a beautiful part of the North East!

“Home from Home Plus” We had a lovely holiday in Sea Watch with every comfort and assistance that could be provided. The furnishings were of a high standard and there were lots of unexpected extras. The sea views were wonderful and Cullercoats is a very pleasant place to stay with lots of great cafe/restaurants nearby the apartments. We were lucky with the weather but with Gateshead and Newcastle within easy reach as well as Whitley Bay there would have been lots to do in any case. The only drawback to the apartment for us was that because it was warm we wanted the windows open and the road along the front is somewhat noisy. Having wi-fi is a big bonus as the mobile phone signal was generally poor. The owners were great.

“Great apartment tastefully decorated overlooking the sea within easy reach of local restaurants & metro” We had a enjoyable holiday in a great apartment that was tastefully decorated overlooking the sea, we enjoyed walking along the beaches and promenade to Tynemouth village and Whitley Bay The apartment is within easy reach of local restaurants & the metro. “Vacation trip” Throughly enjoyed our time here. Apartment more than met our needs, plenty space etc. Secure parking below in basement also secure door entry. Restraunts on your doorstep Chinese - Indian - Pizza - Itialians & good old Fish shop. Handy for Newcastle 20mins Metro - Tynemouth 8 mins - Whitley Bay 5mins plenty more Restraunts & Bars in these areas. Metro station 5 mins walk from apartment. Plenty of things to see & really nice views especially from the Apartment front room. I'd have no hestitation in staying here again. Owner throughly helpful throughout our stay.

CANCELLATION:- All payments will be refunded if a booking is cancelled more than 40 days prior to arrival date. If a booking is cancelled 28 days or less to your arrival the entire stay will be charged
