About the home

Our villa is situated in a secluded location at the rear of the small fishing village of Turunc yet it is still only a short walk of 10 mins to the beach, shops and restaurants. It has stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the sea. Served by a private road there are parking spaces outside the property. The villa has a decent sized private pool and private gardens to the front and rear. The ground floor comprises a large sitting room and dining area with an open fireplace. There is a fitted kitchen with all appliances including microwave and dishwasher. Doors from the dining area lead to a covered pation with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the views. The swimming pool is just a few steps away. The first floor has 3 double bedrooms and a large family bathroom. On the second floor is a sumptuous master bedroom with en-suite and impressive views. Every floor has balconies.

There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The largest has a double bedroom and plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. The bay window faces the sea and a separate door leads onto the balcony. There are 2 further bedrooms on this floor with 2 single beds. On the second floor a luxury master bedroom has a private en suite bathroom with a spa bath and shower and a private balcony where you can sit, relax and enjoy stunning view.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turunc is located on Turkey's Turquoise coast. These shores are amongst the most attractive in Turkey. The beaches are framed by a backdrop of pine woods, olive groves and craggy cliffs. Turunc and neighbouring Marmaris are perfect for watersports especially sailing. Products of this region include leather goods, carpet weaving, honey, olives and olive oil. The combination of balmy climate, warm sea and wealth of natural and architectural points of interest make this stretch of coastline a popular tourist destination.

The Turunc area

The setting of this unique small village is truly magnificent, with a backdrop of hills and mountains, nestling amongst the intensely green pine forests and olive groves. Once a thriving fishing village, Turunc now provides wonderful holidays offering a wealth of local activities, bars and restaurants while retaining a friendly and intimate feel. The beach has Blue Flag status and there are many watersports available such as diving, fishing, sailing and snorkelling. Why not try a boat excursion along the spectacular coast, stopping at bays for swimming and a bbq lunch. A short drive or boat trip away are the larger resorts of Iclemer and Marmaris where you can find an even greater choice of shopping and entertainment. Separate excursions to the historic Ephesus and Pammakale can be arranged as can trips to the Turtle Beach and even a ferry to Rhodes. Locally you can try a 4-wheel drive experience cross country or hire a car and explore the villages in the Dacta peninsular.
