Home description
Amos is a stunning hillside village so close to the beach and warm waters of the Med - an ideally located holiday retreat for families, couples or single travellers, in fact anyone looking for a fully relaxing and peaceful holiday. This property has a large living room with double patio doors which lead out onto the bottom terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher and gas hob with all the appliances you would expect to find in your own home. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. There is also a washing machine. Upstairs there is an airy landing with double patio doors leading out onto the top sun terrace where you can relax around the table and take in the views of the coast and mountainside or catch the rays on the two sun loungers. The two bedrooms lead off the landing. There is a twin room with wardrobe, bedside cabinet and air conditioning unit. The other room has a double bed, wardrobe and two bedside cabinets. The bathroom is also off the landing with basin, toilet and shower.
The complex at Amos is attractively planted with mature communal gardens. There is a good sized communal swimming pool under a minutes walk from the villa and of course, the complex leads down to the fabulous bay, with its clear blue water.
Amos is nestled in the hillside and offers fantasic panoramic views. The area has two beaches (one of which is exclusively for the use of Amos residents and guests).

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Turunc is a wonderfully welcoming town with a good balance of restaurants and shops. It is about 10 minutes car / taxi drive form Amos or a leisurely 30 minute walk through beautiful coastal scenery.
The harbour in Turunc offers regular water taxis to Ichmelir and Marmaris.
You can also arrange day or half day boat trips with bbq and entertainment visiting the bays around Turunc. The boat will stop at different bay and allow you to swim in the warm waters or stay on the boat and relax. We fully recommend this as a thoroughly enjoyable and sociable day out!
There are plenty of activities in and around Turunc but if you feel like venturing further afield there are a number of tour agents in town more than happy to arrange days out to favourites like the mud Baths, Turtle Beach or maybe a jeep safari for the more adventurous?
Turunc / Amos area
There is a lovely private beach with a restaurant serving simple local specialities throughout the day and in the evenings, a large communal swimming pool, a Janitor and his family on site, gardeners, a quay to tie your boat to in the summer months and land space to lift it onto for the winter months (limited to size of course!).
Amos is a quiet haven where you can unwind and relax in the turkish sunshine. Just 10 minutes drive away is the village of Turunc where you will find a good selection of shops and some very good quality restaurants along with its blue flag award winning beach. You can book excursions or sight seeing trips from here. Further afield you will find Icmeler and Marmaris and all the amenities that these bigger resorts have to offer.
How to get there
Fly to Dalaman which is the closest airport and takes just under two hours to arrive at the villa from this airport. The villa is around 30 mins drive from Marmaris port.

Further details indoors: The villa is fully equipped with the appliances you would expect to find in your own home.
The kitchen has a gas hob and a small worktop oven / grill. We also have a large fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an iron and ironing board if you really feel inclined! The lounge is a nice, open, airy space (ideal for dancing as our children and their friends proved last year) and the marble staircases leads up to a large landing with patio doors out to the top sun terrace – a must for all those wanting to top up on the tan. The top patio has a table and four chairs; there are also two sun loungers. The two bedrooms lead off the landing and both have bedside cabinets and wardrobes, as well as all the all important air conditioning units. Both top and bottom bathroom have showers, wash basins and toilets with socket points for shavers and hairdryers.
Further details outdoors: The communal pool, which has a stunning backdrop, is open from July through to the end of September. The pool is situated under a minutes’ walk from the villa. The large pool is surrounded by sun loungers and there are shower and toilet facilities on site. A small cafe serves cold drinks and ice creams. There is a smaller pool attached to the main pool for younger children. At night the residents meet around the pool and share a Turkish tea over conversation.
The main beach is a pleasant 8 minute walk from the villa through the village. You can relax on a lounger or bathe in the warm waters of the Med. The renowned restaurant offers a wonderful selection of dishes to suit every palate.
The private beach is around 6 minutes walk from the villa and is exclusively for the residents and guests use.
