About the home

If you want a luxury holiday Olive Villa is the place for you It is superbly situated in a beautiful and peaceful secluded valley on the edge of Turunc. It has spectacular views of the mountains and is only a 10 minute walk from the beach and the centre of Turunc, and only a 5 minute stroll alongside a stream (dry in high season) and olive groves to the nearest amenities. This two double bedroom, two shower room (one ensuite) villa has been finished to a very high specification, and is furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard. The open plan living area opens onto a large terrace next to the pool, and has stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Both bedrooms and the living area have air-conditioning. The garden has several large patio areas for sunbathing and dining al fresco, and has a built in BBQ. The good sized private pool is attractively designed.

Olive Villa is newly built and attractively furnished to an extremley high standard. This two bedroom villa sleeps four in two double bedrooms. The rooms are spacious and airy and have plenty of storage space. The designer kitchen has top of the range equipment and the living area has windows the full width of the room and opens out onto the terrace in front of the pool. There is a good selection of books that you are welcome to borrow or swap, and a flat screen TV & DVD player (no signal) and a selection of DVD's. You can also buy DVD's in the village at a reasonable price.

There are several patio areas in the garden for sunbathing and al fresco dining so that there is always somewhere shady to sit, and there is also a built in BBQ. The terrace in front of the pool is furnished with comfortable patio furniture and sunbeds. The pool is cleaned and maintained daily.

The price includes cleaning at the beginning and end of your stay. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.
There is no fixed changeover day or length of stay. The cost of extra days is based on the weekly rate.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be required to secure a booking. The balance of the holiday cost plus a Security Deposit of £100 will need to be paid no less than 42 days before your arrival date. The Security Deposit covers breakages and damages and is returned to you after the satisfactory inspection of the villa once you have departed. Payments can be made into a UK or Turkish bank account.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turunc is an undiscovered jewel, the scenery is amazing even by Turkey's high standards, and it has just the right balance - not spoilt by mass tourism, but with enough going on to be interesting. The climate is warm and sunny, and during the high season you are guaranteed to wake up to hot sunshine every day.

The Turunc area

Turunc is a small and friendly holiday resort on the beautiful Aegean Coast of Turkey. It is situated in a bay surrounded on three sides by dramatic pine clad mountains which frame the stunning views across the crystal clear blue sea.

The sand and shingle beach has been awarded Blue Flag status, this is only given to the cleanest sea water and beaches in Turkey. Its shallow rake makes swimming both easy and safe, and there are plenty of water sports available, including scuba-diving and water skiing.

Turunc has its own market on a Monday where you can buy locally grown fruit and vegetables and cheese, eggs
etc as well as holiday souvenirs. You can also enjoy fresh bread baked daily by the local bakery in their wood fired oven.

A small selection of shops is located in the main street of Turunc - which is pedestrianised each evening during the season - and a good range of waterside restaurants and bars provide a pleasant and relaxed night life. There is a mix of English and Turkish cuisine available, all served in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

If you want a more exciting nightlife Marmaris is easily accessible either by Dolmus (minibus), or more interestingly, by water taxi. During the day water taxis also run to the lovely nearby bays of Amos and Kumlubuk. There is a well preserved amphitheatre at Amos which is well worth a visit.

For those who wish to do more that enjoy peaceful lazy days around the pool or on the beach there are plenty of day trips and excursions that can be booked via the local travel agents. Particularly enjoyable are the boat trips from the harbour to either Dalyan - famous for its rock tombs & turtle beach - or the Five Bays trip for swimming, admiring the beautiful scenery along the coast, and eating a BBQ lunch cooked for you on the boat. It is also possible to visit the Greek island of Rhodes for the day via the hydrofoil from Marmaris, and to take a trip to see the world famous attractions of Ephesus and Pamukkale The principle attractions of the region are the ideal swimming and sunbathing weather, the beautiful coastline and the spectacular mountain and coastal walks.

The beautiful bay of Turunc is situated on the Bozburun Peninsular about a 90 minute drive from Dalaman airport. Private transfers can be arranged on request from both Dalaman and Bodrum airport at any time of the day (or night), and no need to worry if your flight is delayed - they will wait for you! The cost from Dalaman airport is £100 return.

If you would rather hire a car, we can arrange for you to be picked up from the airport in your hire car and taken to the villa where the keys will be handed to you, and at the end of your visit you will be taken back to the airport. The price for this service, including car hire, is £250 for one week and £350 for two weeks.

There are direct flights from the UK to Dalaman airport. Low cost airlines include Easyjet and Thomas Cook. Sky Scanner and Travelsupermarket are useful sites to use when searching for flights.
Private transfers from the airport can be arranged on request. The cost from Dalaman airport is £100 return, for other airports please request the price. There is also a shuttle service from Dalaman which is £15 per person each way.
Car hire can be arranged, including being collected at the airport and driven to your villa, where you will be handed the keys, and being driven back to the airport on your return. The price for this service is £250 for one week and £420 for two weeks, including car hire. Please enquire regarding other time periods.

“Beautiful, secluded villa” 5 star villa, excellent, modern, clean on the edge of a sleepy little town. If you like your peace and quiet then this villa is perfect. Beautiful mountain views and the outside space with pool makes it. Owners and Agents great to deal with, very friendly and helpful. We stayed there with friends and loved it not one complaint. “A great villa in a beautiful location” My friend and I had a lovely week in this great villa. The views are beautiful and the villa is in a great location - far enough out of the town to be peaceful but close enough for it to be easily accessible. I'd definitely recommend it. “Peaceful location with spectacular views.” Olive Villa is set in a beautiful location, in the hillside, 15 minutes walk from the lovely town of Turunc. The town has a good choice of quality restaurants, fun bars and lovely shops. The beach is stunning and immaculately clean with a choice of watersport activities and sunloungers for relaxing. The villa itself is spacious and clean with a lovely pool overlooking the mountains. The road leading to the villa is steep and unsurfaced and can be a challenge in the heat of the day and later at night. Olive Villa is certainly the place if you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, away from the crowds.

“Excellent holiday with spectacular views” Thank you Sandra for letting us stay at your villa we all had a fantastic time there. The scenery was amazing waking up to beautiful sunshine and blue skies with the views made it all that special. The family loved the swimming pool and the privacy there , the local village and people were so friendly, Emieh and Semieh were always there if we needed some help or advice.
