The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
On the west coast of Turkey, close to the borders of Greece. Warm temperatures all year round with a long summer season from April to October. Temperatures usually reach 28 -30 degrees during the peak summer months.
Even in the winter months the temperature rarely falls below 15 degrees. During the summer there is usually a cooling breeze coming down from the mountains.
It has been populated for many of thousands of years and evidence of this still remains visable today. The ruins of the ancient city og Amos are a short walk away from Turnuc.
Turunc is a quite fishing village and welcomes tourists during the long summer season. Here you will be able to bathe in the clean, clear waters of the Blue Flagged beach. Turunc is proud to have the cleanest beaches and who promote environmental awareness within the local community.

How to get there
Airlines - Most airline companies will provide flights to Dalaman. Preferred flights through Thomas Cook, BA and Turkish airlines, although other airlines do suffice. Thomas Cook offer good deals throughout the year. Most deals can be found searching on the Internet, through all search engines which is advisable to obtain the best deal.
Prior to booking we can arrange pick up and drop off links, to and from the airport. Alternatively, taxis are available from the airport, but for the cheapest option, the arranged service is preferable.
Car hire can be arranged once you arrive at your destination. This is strongly recommended, as the office at the apartments can provide you with the relevant information you will need.

Further details outdoors: The apartment is 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and the village. The most popular resorts of Marmaris and Icmeler are only a short boat or bus ride away.
The bay of Turunc is one if the most beautiful along the coast of the Bozburun Peninsula. The mountains are covered with pine trees are a haven for wildlife. The natural pine honey from this area is one of the many products of this beautiful landscape.
It has been populated for many of thousands of years and evidence of this still remains visible today. The ruins of the ancient City of Amos for example, are just a short walk away from Turunc. Many more archaeological sites exist along what was formerly known as the Loryma Peninsula.
Turunc welcomes tourists during the long summer season from April to October. Here you will be able to bathe in the clear water of the blue Flagged beach. The village attracts holiday makers from all over Europe. There are sufficient bars and shops to cater for most tastes. The restaurants are renowned for their cuisine varying from traditional Turkish to contemporary European styles menus.
The mild climate here enables you to swim in the sea for seven months of the year. There are a variety of water sports available in the bay.
