If you are looking to rent a large private villa in one of the best locations on the Turkish Mediterranean/Turquoise Coast then Villa Dantella in picturesque Turunc near Marmaris and Icmeler is the perfect choice. Villa Dantella is absolutely lovely. There is a fantastic terrace (the perfect place to watch the sun go down or to enjoy a drink in the shade) and an even more fantastic swimming pool and garden.

With its 10 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms/showers and one single room with separate bath/shower, it is the perfect setting for larger arrangements. Furthermore, the villa has large European kitchen, living room with TV, laundry room and an idyllic location that is only 500 m to the beach with crystal clear water. Full air-conditioning throughout.

The villa is perfectly suited for large families/small companies with special occasions to celebrate.

Highest standards in all rooms. Dinner ware and complete kitchen utensils for 25 people. Our manager Ibrahim ( Ibo ) Guler, aka " The Pancake King " is fantastic!! He and his wife keep everything in the villa sparkling clean. He can arrange Barbecue Evening with pancakes for desert if you want. He can help you arrange a private boat trip or jeep rental. He can give you tips on shopping. He will help you with all your wishes. Not only that he is always in a fantastic mood. We cannot say enough positive about him and his wife!!!!!! You´ll love him.

The 2 terraces are fantastic! A perfect place for breakfast, reading a book in the shade, playing games, or stopping over for a drink before going out to eat in the evening. An integral part of the Villa Dantella experience. The swimming pool is huge. I has steps for easy access ( children, the elderly or anyone else wanting to get wet slowly!! ) in one end, and a perfect 2,40m depth in the other end. Perfect for diving in. Please observe. No lifeguard on duty! The garden is fantastic. With 1300 sq.mtr. privacy and lots of exotic trees such as orange, lemon, hazelnut, apricot and banana it is the perfect place to spend the day in the sun or the shade if you don´t want to go to the beach. NEW FOR 2010: A new terrace was added on Villa Dantella. Approximately same size as the original. This will greatly expand the fantastic outdoor scenery and allow guests to sit an directly view out over the pool and garden.

Incidentally, Turunc has some of the best water in the whole region. Crystal clear and always nice and warm. The Green Garden Restaurant across the street serves fantastic food and has even better service. Try it! There is also a small local shop about 50m from the Dantella where the kids can go buy ice cream, coke and water. The adults can even buy beer and wine as well as food for breakfast if necessary.

Further details

Rent of Villa Dantella includes: Daily cleaning and housekeeping, new fresh towels daily, new linens and bedsheets every other day, electricity, gas, heat, air-conditioning, use of laundry facilities and private parking. Daily household taken care of by our staff, Ibrahim and his wife. They do not live on the premisses.

Conditions

25% of rental fee due upon reservation to secure your booking. Remaining 75% no later than 30 days prior to start of rental period.
Strictly no smoking except on terrace.
Refundable breakages deposit of £ 150 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure, subject to satisfactory property inspection

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

Turunc is located 15 km from Marmaris on the Lorymar Peninsula. The area is very special because of the high mountains. You really get that Grand Canyon feel when you come over the mountain from Marmaris/Icmeler. Turunc is located in a serene bay with beautiful crystal clear water. The area is green year round because of the high water content in the mountains.

The Turunc area

Turunc is a small cozy village about 7 Km from Icmeler and about 15 Km from Marmaris. Local Dolmus buses go back and forth every our. Because of Turunc´s location in it´s own stunning bay you avoid the high noise bars and restaurants you typically find in Icmeler/Marmaris. Turunc is ideal because you have many nice restaurants and shops without all the hassle you find in Icmeler/Marmaris. The young people in your group can go in there to party while you are enjoying a more mature relaxing atmosphere. You should definitely go in there to have a look, but most of our guests love the fact that they are staying in Turunc, where they are not living upstairs from a disco! Marmaris, of course, is the centre of this holiday area. With it´s bazaar and thousands of boutiques only your wallet and imagination set the limit!

Shopping is fantastic. Night clubs almost around the clock and dining unlimited. The harbour, one of the six best in the Mediterranean, has hundreds of fantastic ships to look at, rent...and maybe buy! Archaeological sites within reach. We can help you arrange gulet ( great wooden ships with masts and sails like in the old days ) trips at reasonable rates, barbecue and pancake for desert evenings at Villa Dantella and anything else you might like. Our manager Ibrahim ( Ibo ) is an expert at dealing with the locals since he has worked in Turunc for 15 years. You want to take advantage of his friendship with everyone in the village.The local tour operators have everything from village tours to jeep safari and much much more.

The nearest airport is Dalaman. Please check with your local travel agent for the best flights. We will be happy to arrange transfer in an Air-conditioned minibus. The trip takes one hour and fourty-five minutes. We will stop at a cosy Turkish restaurant about halfway to the villa. It is possible to buy water, soft drinks, beer, snacks and visit the wc.

If you wish to rent a car we will be happy to help with that too. Just let us know when you contact us.

Price includes full use of Villa Dantella and all described facilities incl. air-conditioning. Upon booking you pay 25% of the rental fee. The remainder of the rental fee to be paid no later than 30 days before you come to Villa Dantella. We gladly arrange transfer from Dalaman Airport at £ 20 per person round trip to Villa Dantella. We also can arrange a fantastic breakfast including tea/coffee, milk, orange juice, eggs, cheese, 3 different cold cuts ( meat ), various vegetables, jellies/jams, bread. All you can eat at £ 25/person/week. We highly recommend the breakfast. Better economy than doing it yourself. Please let us know about transfer and breakfast at least 30 days prior to your arrival. Expect 5 pound raise each 2012.
