Our self catering holiday accommodation is situated amidst an ancient olive grove at the foot of the hills in the beautiful village of Turunç, Turkey, with landscaped gardens and large swimming pool.
The apartments can be found in the secluded outskirts of the small fishing village of Turunç, yet near enough to access the local restaurants and shops.
There are panoramic views of the surrounding mountains & countryside from every window. To the back of the apartments, there are wonderful views of the unspoilt ancient olive groves and mountains. To the front, there is a fantastic view across the village of Turunç to the sea.
There are two floors in each apartment, comprising of 3 bedrooms & sleeping 8 (1 double bed, 4 single beds & 1 bunk), there are 2 bathrooms & a luxury fitted large kitchen with a spacious dining area & sitting room. All rooms have air conditioning.
The three bedrooms of the apartment are on ground level; the main bedroom has patio doors leading out to a balcony & garden area with steps to the large swimming pool. The pool has plenty of surrounding sunbathing area with sun beds & umbrellas. There are two further bedrooms one with 2 single beds & the other with 2 single beds & a bunk bed.
The apartment has three balconies, two to the front of the property with views of the swimming pool and Turunç bay, and one to the rear, with a view of the olive groves and mountains. The apartment has outside table and chairs.

The apartment is well fitted out with the usual appliances such as hairdryer, T.V with DVD/CD audio system, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven & hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, iron & ironing board.
We provide a welcome pack consisting of eggs, milk, water, bread, tea & coffee so if you arrive late at night there will be enough food for you to relax & have some breakfast in the morning.
All bedding, sheets & towels are provided. If you require a change of bedding during your stay, this can be arranged for a fee of £30.
Our friends at the Antik Restaurant can help you should you require any further assistance with the apartment or things like tours, boat trips, etc.

Conditions
OLIVE GROVE APARTMENTS, TURUNC.
1. We will not be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of any person nor any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property which the tenant or any other person may suffer or incur arising out of or in any way connected with the letting or resulting from any other cause whatsoever. We advise you to arrange your own insurance to cover yourselves and your personal belongings whilst staying at the property.
2. If the booking is made within eight weeks of the letting the whole of the rental payment is to be forwarded, together with a security deposit of £100. The security deposit will be returned to the tenant within 7 days of the end of their paid holiday duration, less any deductions in accordance with the conditions listed.
3. If the booking is made prior to eight weeks before the letting, a rental deposit of £100 per week booked is to be forwarded with your booking. The remaining balance of the rental sum and the security deposit of £100 are to be paid six weeks prior to the letting.
4. The number of people occupying the property may not exceed 8.
5. The tenant agrees to keep the property and all fittings, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property in a like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting and will make good (or will arrange with us to make good) any damage, breakage, or loss that may occur during the period of letting.
6. The property is equipped with crockery, cutlery, sheets, blankets and adequate cleaning equipment, linen and towels (not to be used as beach towels!).
7. Holiday lettings are by the week (unless by prior arrangement) as stated at the time of booking. Long lets can be arranged in advance.
8. The tenants agree not to smoke, nor to allow smoking, inside the apartment at any time. If this is not strictly adhered to it will lead to a deduction from the deposit.
9. Tenants are asked to leave the property clean and tidy and to ensure that they take all belongings with them. On changeover days there is only time for a superficial check and a general clean. We rely upon the goodwill of our guests whose co-operation we greatly appreciate. Should the property be left in a poor condition, requiring more intensive cleaning, then this will be charged at £10 per hour and deducted from the security deposit.
10. The acceptance of the property from the owner will be deemed an acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PLEASE NOTE: All bookings are subject to the conditions above and must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit unless the booking is made within eight weeks of the commencement of the let when the total rental should be enclosed, together with the security deposit.

Once a thriving fishing village, and steeped in local history and folklore, Turunç is a truly unique holiday destination. With pine-forested hills rising majestically to each side of it, the bay of Turunç is a hidden jewel just waiting to be discovered.
The visitor is afforded all the modern conveniences of a family holiday that you would expect and yet the village has retained its sense of the past. It still has a traditional unspoilt feel to it, enabling the visitor to really sample the best of both worlds; pure escapism and a modern family holiday. It is for this reason that Turunç has recently received the European Blue Flag Award.
The breathtaking scenery and crystal clear waters are guaranteed to soothe and restore the soul.
The sea is perfect for swimming and for making the most of the water sports available, like windsurfing, parasailing, dinghy hire and scuba diving. Local firms along the bay offer fantastic boat trips around the coast. The Mediterranean climate enables you to swim for 7 months of the year (April to October).
The people are exceptionally warm and friendly, eager to share their beautiful village with visitors and their families alike.
Take the opportunity to sample traditionally prepared dishes in any of the excellent local restaurants. Specialities include fresh seafood, Turkish salads and Kebabs, and wonderful ice creams.
The Turunc area
Turunç offers visitors a real sense of Turkish life with its local crafts and shops. There are a variety of shops available, selling traditional jewellery, handbags and clothes. You will spot several mini markets along the main village thoroughfare, offering local handicraft and souvenirs at reasonable prices. Turkish teas, spices and other traditional delights abound. Every Monday, there is a larger local market that offers a wider range of goods such as locally grown fruit and vegetables. It is a truly Turkish experience to wander through the bustling stalls and sample local fayre.
Turunç is situated near to the neighbouring larger towns of Marmaris and Icmeler, which are just 10km along the coast. You can easily get there by car, bus or boat taxi. There you have access to main shopping centres, nightlife, and the many restaurants lining the quay.
Take a leisurely walk with your family to Turunç bay, and then get a boat taxi to Marmaris for the day or the evening. Spend the day shopping, sample a faster pace of life, then unwind and restore your strength in the peace and tranquillity of Turunç, ready for the next day!
ANTIK Restaurant- Enjoy traditional Turkish food at this family run restaurant set on the outskirts of Turunç. The wonderful climate here means that you and your family can sit beneath olive vines and enjoy the peaceful setting and mountain views until late into the evening. There is a wide range of freshly prepared dishes to choose from and you can watch delicious breads being made to a traditional Turkish recipe. Always friendly and accommodating, this restaurant is well worth a visit and we guarantee it is an experience you will want to repeat.
FIDAN Restaurant- This restaurant is situated right on the seafront and gives the visitor fantastic views across the bay of Turunç. Seafood is a speciality, the catch of the day enthusiastically and skilfully prepared for you. A wide range of other dishes is also available, all presented to a high standard.

Our stay here was everything we had hoped for - the duplex apartment was very chic - lovely pine furniture, spacious bedrooms, balconies with mountain views and a large kitchen area with a massive american style fridge. The swimming pool outside was great - . plenty of padded sunbeds and umbrellas and all surrounded by exotic plants and trees giving it a lovely tropical feel. The apartment is about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Turunc and about 10 minutes walk from the beach where sunbeds are free. The large village has everything you need - lots of small supermarkets and plenty of really nice restaurants for eating out. There are also plenty of cafes/restaurants along the seafront from where the owners are quite happy to bring out drinks to you.whilst you sunbathe. We had drinks all day and settled up when we were leaving -which shows how friendly and trusting the traders are! There are lots of bars showing sky sports. The apartment does not have tv reception due to the stunning mountains that surround it - should you want to watch something - the owner has left plenty of good DVD's and you can also buy more in town really cheaply aswell! there is also a really nice CD player. We enjoyed ourselves so much - this apartment ticked every box - it was clean ,spacious very well furnished, in a peaceful position but within walking distance of the beach and shops. The weather was perfect -hot and sunny and there was so much to do. There are lots of boat trips from the harbour and they are a bargain - costing about £12 for an all day trip round the coast with plenty of swim stops. Lunch is included in the price!! Lots of other trips out and about which you can buy in town from one of several travel agents We will be returning next year - we have already booked!! |

Having stayed at various places in Turunc over the past 5 years, we have now found the perfect location, the apartment is of the highest standard, the views are wonderful & the swimming pool is large. We loved sitting out on the 3 balconies & choosing the view to suit the mood, we will be returning every year. |
