The Olive Grove Apartment is part of a quiet, private complex where the discerning holidaymaker can enjoy a relaxing time with like-minded fellow holidaymakers and owners. It is in possibly the most desirable location in the bay of Turunç and at nearly an acre in area, the site has a spacious feel with meandering paths, stone wall terracing, and well laid out gardens. There are sixteen apartments carefully arranged around what is easily the largest swimming pool in Turunç. The village center and beach are only an easy few minutes’ walk away along virtually traffic free roads.
The Apartment is privately owned and located in a quiet elevated position. There are beautiful panoramic views from the windows and balconies sweeping over Turunç and the bay to one side and to Olive Groves and Pine tree clad mountains to the other. It is located to the side of the pool with clear views of the pool area from the lounge balcony, while privacy is maintained on its ground floor balcony by its slightly elevated position and the banana trees which surround the pool. It is ideal for families and friends to share, while the lounge balcony provides wonderful views over Turunç and is an ideal place for a couple to enjoy a glass of wine at sundown.

The apartment easily accommodates six and is provided with two double beds and two single beds. If required, a cot bed is available for those with a baby. There is spacious accommodation throughout, tastefully furnished and complete with an LCD TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern high and low level cupboards, marble worktops, cooker, microwave, toaster, a fridge freezer and a fully automatic washing machine. Air conditioning is provided which can be used for heating or cooling under the control of remote hand units.
The apartment is split-level with the main entrance door leading into the upstairs landing, kitchen, living/dining room, and a bathroom. The landing also gives access to the ground floor via a marble staircase to a lower landing for access to the 3 bedrooms and main bathroom. Two balconies are located on the first floor, one giving magnificent views over the bay and pool, while the other is on the entrance side gives an unrestricted view of a pine clad hillside. A further balcony is located on the ground floor adjacent to the main bedroom and is accessed from within by French windows. The garden is only a couple of steps down from the balcony and paths lead through the gardens to the pool where there are padded sun loungers.
Airport transfers can be arranged at competitive rates along with local car hire on a daily basis, or alternatively we can arrange for a car to meet you at the airport.

The crystal clear water in the large swimming pool is level with the surrounding tiled area which provides ample space for the sun loungers and wicker parasol shades. It is in a central location within the garden area which is terraced by natural stone built walls. The garden and pools are raised relative to the adjacent road and therefore enjoys a feeling of privacy. Tiled and stone paved pathways lead through the gardens each having benefit of the surrounding views. The adjacent road has very little traffic and provides plenty of space for car parking.
Further details
Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided, together with ironing facilities and a hairdryer. A full-time caretaker, Ali, looks after the site and will be happy to help in the unlikely event of any problems. The apartment will, of course, be spotlessly clean upon arrival with all the beds made up and ready for use etc. but should it be required, reasonably priced additional services are available such as mid-holiday cleaning, the changing of bed linen, and welcome packs etc.
The apartment is non-smoking and there are a number of sensible standard conditions which are applied to the booking. Details will be provided prior to booking confirmation.
Conditions
The minimum booking period is for a one-week stay and for part weeks above this minimum period (e.g. 10, 12, 17 day holidays) the cost will be proportional on the above rates. Similarly, where holiday bookings run from month into the next, the cost will be based upon a proportion of the rates and the days of use in each month. Arrival dates are flexible (i.e. weekend or weekday).
A minimum deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, the balance to be received six weeks before arrival together with a breakage/damage deposit of £100 which will be refunded within 10 days of the end of the holiday provided that there has been no damage or breakage which requires replacement or repair. Where bookings are eight weeks or less from the time of arrival, the full amount together with the security deposite is due at the time of booking. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer into either UK or Turkish banks, account details will be provided. PayPal also accepted.
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Turkey is an amazing place with something for everyone. The nearby resorts of Içmeler and Marmaris are easily reached by car, bus, or water taxi, while a short drive or boat ride away also leads to beautiful quiet bays in idyllic locations for lazy days away from it all.
The area around Turunç is pine clad and the mountain road leading down into the village gives magnificent views over the Bay. Such good use in fact that layby's have been provided for visitors to stop and take photographs.
A day's outing takes you to the magnificent world-famous Roman ruins of Ephesus, while another takes you to the Pamukkale (meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish) with its amazing terraces of white carbonate minerals left by the flowing water key. Trips can easily be arranged from agents within Turunç, or if boat trips are more to your liking, day boats are available for hire in the marina.
The Turunc area
Located in a beautiful bay close to Içmeler and Marmaris, Turunç is a picture perfect holiday location well on its way to becoming the place to holiday in the Sun on Turkey's Mediterranean coast. Ride down the winding pine clad mountain road into the bay and you will, like many others who have travelled that road, feel compelled to stop to take pictures from the lay-by's provided for that purpose. When you arrive in the village, you won't fail to be struck by the tranquil atmosphere and easy going feel to the Restaurants and Shops which remain free from the hassle of some of the other resorts.
Once a small fishing village, Turunç has grown as tourism has developed but, due to the vision of the local town planners, it is destined to become a resort for the discerning holiday maker. It is a small resort and is one of the most beautiful along the Aegean coast. Crystal, calm, blue water caress a sandy beach while to the side of the bay there is a small harbour which provides moorings for private yachts, day boats and water taxis to Içmeler and Marmaris. The Blue Flag awarded sandy beach is fronted by restaurants and, rather than an adjacent road with the noise of passing traffic etc. there is a path which runs the length of the bay.
There is a traditional local market held every Monday in Turunç which is a smaller more relaxed version of those held on different days in Içmeler and Marmaris. You can pick up some great bargains in a relaxed atmosphere and barter with stall holders who conduct their business in a manner more suited to the village.
On the high streets there is a selection of relaxed shops, restaurants, and bars. Relax in the Tea Garden under the shelter of fig trees or take a trip to the local resorts by taxi via the taxi rank, water taxi or by one of the half hourly buses. In the evening, the high street is closed to general traffic so the roadside restaurants can be enjoyed in full in a family safe environment. With little traffic, and real village atmosphere, it makes for a wonderfully secluded destination.

The nearest airport is Dalaman and Turunç is an easy 1.5 to 2 hr drive away. Cheap car hire is available in Dalaman or transfers can be arranged for around £80 (for four). A number of airlines use the airport such as Jet2 and Easyjet and flights are availble with holiday companies such as Fly Thomas Cook and Flightline.
