About the home

Our welcoming, well equipped triplex villa is located in the coastal village of Turunc on the Aegean coast of Turkey - one of this areas best kept secrets.
Quiet and peaceful, yet only a water taxi trip away from the larger resort of Marmaris, the villa has all amenities and is perfect for those seeking a chilling, relaxing holiday. With a stunning, quiet mountain backdrop, the property offers spacious well presented accommodation, yet is only an easy stroll from the resorts main street and blue flag beach.

The property accommodation consists of a spacious, open planned living room and kitchen which has all the facilities needed for an enjoyable stay. This floor also has a toilet and wash room.
The first floor has 2 spacious bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), as well as a bathroom complete with shower.
On the second floor there is a large bedroom complete with 3 single beds and this floor also has a bathroom complete with shower.

All rooms have air conditioning units and spacious balconies and the property is suited for quiet family style or couple holidays.

The swimming pool in the development is oval shaped and is a very enjoyable way to cool off if you decide to spend the day relaxing at the property which gets the much sought after summer sun all day from 9am until 6pm.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region

The whole of Turkey is steeped in history with lots of places of interest and this area is no different. Our management agency in the village can be used to book trips to historic sites such as Ephasus, the mud baths or Jeep safaris or if a boat trip is required, the local boat owners at the harbour are only too willing to offer of their services (don't forget to bargain).

The weather is of course fantastic with long hot summers and mild winters and the crystal clear waters of the Aegean can be enjoyed by water sports enthusiasts who can hire speedboats and jet skis from the blue flag beach front.

Those who like to walk can shed the excess pounds (gained from the fantastic variety of foods available) with a variety of challenging hikes available locally.

The Turunc area

Turunc is a beautiful tranquil village which has lots of good quality restaurants and a good assortment of bars and shops. It has a shingle/sand blue flag beach with crystal clear water.

The village itself is pedestrianized from 8 o'clock in the evening and provides a tranquil safe environment for families with children. The locals in the village are very welcoming and friendly and are only too willing to offer advice/help to holidaymakers.

The local village market takes place every Monday where fresh fruit and veg can be bought alongside locally made tablecloths and the usual array of fake branded clothing.

“wow spotless clean pool lovely villa whole family loved it” What a lovely place, villa outstanding and the photos dont do it justice we all walked into the villa and stood amazed it got a wow factor from everyone and the pool was spotlessly clean took about just over ten mins walk to the town Turunce is a lovely place and dealing with graeme was very easy and straight forward we will definitly be returning Response: Hi Liz and thank you very much for your review and for your kind words about our property in Turunc. “A holiday of pure relaxation with the comforts of home” Starting from collection at the airport, this holiday was a dream, the transfer to the property was comfortable & efficient & the driver had the apartment keys with him when we arrived in Turunc. The apartment itself was fully equipped with all the comforts of home, including a TV & DVD player, which was a godsend to our teenage children,who after a day in the sun & a nice evening meal, liked nothing more than relaxing with a film before bed. The apartment is in a small complex, close enough to all the amenities, a 10 minute walk gets you to the beach, but far enough away on a night to give you the privacy you crave, the pool & gardens were cleaned & tended every morning & a cleaner came around in the middle of our stay & cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, & did an excellent job. During our stay, all of our neighbours were British, which created a very friendly community with everyone knowing everyone's name & chatting along merrily. We spent every evening eating out & particularly enjoyed a restaurant called "Elif", which is on the first road to the left, when you pass the mosque, on the main road, meals there were beautifully cooked & presented & the owner is very friendly, breakfast is also very good & included tea or coffee for 8 lira. We did go on the catamaran to Rhodes & enjoyed the day out very much, but the cobbled streets of Rhodes Town do not go well with soft bottomed shoes so "be warned" if you fancy that trip. Overall the holiday & apartment were excellent & I would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone, this is the second time we have been to Turunc, & we are already in negotiations with the owner to book for next year.

“Great place to stay” Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Had very thing we needed. The complex and pool was clean and well maintained.Situated on the outskirts of the village but a pleasant walk to the sea front. We found everyone in Turunc exceptionally friendly and had one of the best holidays we have ever had. Annette and Malcolm Skelton
