Siraz is a spacious, luxury and tranquil air-conditioned four bedroom apartment set at the foot of the mountains on two floors with breathtaking views of the sea, village and mountain ranges. It benefits from a 10 minute walk to the buzzing, lively village bars, restaurants, shops and beach. With the entrance balcony at first floor level the apartment takes advantage of the beautiful views. The apartment is designed to the highest standard with a large lavish fully equipped kitchen including everything you would expect; dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, iron and ironing board etc.
The apartment is open plan with a spacious dining area. Both the luxury kitchen and open plan American style lounge fan off from the dining area. A twin bedroom and luxury bathroom leads off from the lounge. The lounge has a large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the landscaped gardens and large elegant swimming pool. Here you can sip your evening tipple whilst watching the stars and the sparkling lights of the village.
A wide palatial staircase winds up from the entrance hall to three further bedrooms, two large and one smaller, and two bathrooms, including one that has a Jacuzzi and balcony with again stunning views of the sea, village and mountains.
All bedding, sheets and bath towels are provided and the apartments are cleaned thoroughly weekly. If one wishes to have a maid service, paying a modest fee directly to our agent living in nearby can provide this. The apartment is non-smoking.

The apartment is one of twelve sharing the substantial pool and facilities. The pool is one of the largest in Turunc.

Whilst house towels are provided, these are not to be taken to the beach. Please bring your own beach towels with you.
The number of people occupying the property must not exceed seven.
This is a strictly non smoking apartment.
All guests are required to vacate the property by 11 a.m. of the day of departure. Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy.
Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking. This can be paid into a UK account. The balance of the holiday is due six weeks before your arrival date. At the same time we also require a breakage/damage security deposit of £100. This will be returned to you in the week after your holiday, once there has been a satisfactory inspection of the holiday accommodation.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region


No matter where you stay in Turunc you are never more than a 10 minute level walk from the centre of activity and the beach but en-route there are mini markets and many watering holes! Some foreign nationals have settled here including many Brits and although English is widely spoken, this is clearly a very Turkish village with a lifestyle to match.
The locals are disarmingly friendly and make you feel very welcome. They are very family orientated, love children and are eager to share their beautiful village with visitors.
The climate is fabulous. - The sun shines for 300 days a year and it rarely rains but when it does, it is usually just a very brief interlude and clear blue skies are not far behind! Even out of season the temperature is usually warm enough to sun bathe.
Apart from the restaurants/bars and shops, Turunc has one or two night spots but if you would like to venture further, the larger and busier towns of Marmaris and Icmeler, with their bustling clubs and nightlife, are just a short drive or taxi/bus ride away (for a real treat, the water taxi is also great!).
Turunc and the surrounding countryside is excellent for cycling and hiking. Other activities to try in the local area are boat trips, scuba diving, rafting and jeep safaris.
You often find they cost a lot less than you would expect to pay in other countries. So whether you just want to sit round the pool or beach and soak up the sun, play in the fabulous clear warm sea, enjoy the excellent local food in one of the fantastic restaurants or maybe take one of the many available excursions to local historic sites, we can promise you a holiday of a lifetime here in Turunc.
Dalaman is the closest airport (approx.120km away) and transfers by taxi and/or car hire can easily be arranged.
The Turunc area
There are a variety of boat trips, for example you can visit the mud baths of Dalyan or some of the beautiful bays which can be found along the coast. The ruins of Amos can be found within a five minute drive of Turunc or if you fancy travelling further a field the historic ruins of Ephesus are well worth a visit.
The setting of this unique small town/village is truly magnificent. With a backdrop of hills and mountains, nestling amongst the intensely green pine forests and olive groves, it is a picture to behold. The views on the run down into Turunc with the turquoise Mediterranean sea and islands fading into the background would rival any in the world. This once thriving fishing village has now largely given way to providing wonderful holidays and there are many and varied restaurants, bars and shops, but the charm of this gem is that it has not lost its’ friendly and intimate ‘local’ feel.
To one side of the bay is a small harbour, lined with attractive boats and water taxis and for a small price you can experience an excursion along the spectacular coastline stopping at coves and bays for swimming and a barbecue lunch.
The wonderful safe beach, which is lined with restaurants, has recently achieved the European Blue Flag Award and there is a limited range of water-sports available.

There are flights available to Dalaman airport from a variety of UK airports. Flights can be booked through several airlines including Thomas Cook, Easy jet, Thompson, Monarch and Onur Air.
