The Province of Munster region

The Beara Peninsula is the most rugged and wild part of West Cork and Kerry. It has a totally unspoilt landscape. As you drive along the scenic route you pass the villages of Ardgroom, Eyeries and Allihies before you reach Dursey island accessible only by Ireland's only cable car. Castletown Bearhaven is a very busy fishing town. The scenery is very magical and forever changing with wild seascapes sheep, cattle, wild goats. The locals are very friendly love to chat and direct you on your way. The climate can be varied with sunny days and windy rainy days which gives the visitor a total different experience every time you visit.

Tuosist

Tuosist is approxametly 12 miles from Kenmare town. Its a very rural unspoilt part of Kerry with winding roads and laneways leading up the mountains and along the seacoast. Its a farming area with sheep and cattle grazing in the fields and on the mountainside. Local attractions include Direen Gardens, Gleninchaquin Waterfalls and there are 2 pubs providing food, music and craic.
