Howells at the Moon Farm is set on 18 acres in a very private setting, close to Waynesville and Asheville, NC. You are surrounded by mountains, meadows, fields and streams, yet you are close to shopping and activities. Both properties on the farm can be rented together or separately. One is a two bedroom 1935 renovated farmhouse with a canning and gardening shed, the other is a one bedroom cabin. Both have outdoor hot tubs and fire pits, and are set widely apart from each other to provide maximum privacy. You have no neighbors around you, and can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in its finest. Both properties have luxurious linens and bath towels for your comfort and enjoyment, and the kitchens come fully stocked with all the implements you need to cook some great meals. Even the spices and oils are provided. Just bring your recipe book and get your Julia Child on! There is so much to do in the area, to include white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, skiing, golfing, spas, shopping, museums, a casino, and hiking, among others.
