Truro area

Sitting halfway along Cornwall’s south coast, and convenient for both the north and south coasts, Truro is a great starting point for many of the regions fantastic attractions. These include The Eden Project in St Austell, The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, St Michaels Mount and, of course, Lands End with its stunning natural beauty. There are numerous beaches either on the rugged north coast, including surfing beaches such as Fistral and Watergate Bay; while on the south coast there are secluded coves and calmer waters, with Carhays and Gorran being two popular destinations. Perranporth beach (famous for the television lifeguard series) is just 9.1 miles. Truro itself boasts many bars, restaurants and bistros, and was named the top major town or city in the West Country in the Best Local Food awards – supported by the Western Morning News and ITV Westcountry, and weekly food markets are part of the city’s attraction.
Truro also features a prominent Victorian cathedral, the first to be built on a new site since Salisbury Cathedral was started in 1220. It was built in the gothic style using modern building techniques to give the wonderful building you can see today. Top attractions perform regularly at The Hall for Cornwall.Fresh and funky, number 23 is part of a prestigious re-development of the old City Hospital in the centre of Truro. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment finding it very comfortable and tastefully decorated - a home from home!
We couldn't have chosen nicer accommodation or location for our holiday to Cornwall. The apartment is very well equipped and tastefully furnished with some nice touches which we very much appreciated.
A lovely apartment, handy for the station and easy to get into town. We will be back again as soon as we can!
We enjoyed our stay in Truro very much, the apartment was excellent, possible one of the best equipped we have stayed in!
