The Haven is a large two bedroom cottage located in a secluded hamlet of luxury 5 star holiday cottages in the Cornish countryside between Truro and Falmouth. A real home from home boasting a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area with patio. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with a 6' emperor size double bed and both with en-suite bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a vaulted open-truss ceiling and, in some, a cathedral feature window. There is also a downstairs cloakroom and plenty of storage space.
The Valley is perfectly situated for some of Cornwall's most interesting attractions. Local to the Valley and in less than 2 miles or 10 minutes you can be experiencing some real treats. Whether it's for a chain ferry ride across the famous River Fal to the secluded Roseland Peninsula or a cycle ride to the Devoran valley or North coast you can reach it in a jiff from the Valley.

The kitchen is luxuriously fitted with solid oak worktops and equipped with Villeroy and Boch crockery and Stellar and Judge cutlery and utensils to ensure you enjoy your time in the kitchen! The kitchen also has an oven, hob, microwave, dish washer, washer dryer, food blender, spaghetti measure, pestle and mortar and every other kitchen gadget you may need. We even include rolling pins and instructions for you to make your own Cornish pasties whilst on holiday in Cornwall!
Bedrooms are furnished with contemporary Italian fitted wardrobes and luxury pocket sprung emperor size beds from Millbrook in Southampton, both made exclusively for The Valley. Beds are complemented with 'soft as down' pillows and duvets, crisp white linen and stripey bolsters from Linum in Sweden. Towels are also provided and carefully displayed at the end of each bed.
The living and dining areas are furnished with solid oak and have state-of-the-art mini sound systems, plus flat screen integrated digital T.V. with D.V.D player. Artwork in every room provides the finishing touches to your luxury break!

Cornwall; a county with a lot to do if you chose to! Visit the dramatic North Coast renowned for its surfing beaches.
The South Coast beaches offer calmer flatter waters and glorious scenic views.
Visit some of Cornwall's most beautiful gardens.
Not forgetting every trip to Cornwall has to include a visit to the world renowned Eden Project.
The Truro area
Surrounding the Cathedral, Truro City is home to a series of streams and rivers which weave in and out of alleys and lanes. Parks and open spaces suddenly materialise, while Cathedral spires continually appear and disapppear out of view.
Visit the Royal Cornwall Museum and be inspired by the collection of displays all related to Cornwall. On show they have natural history, ethnology and the fine and industrial arts. Be amazed at the only Egyptian mummy on display in the UK.
The Hall for Cornwall is Cornwall's largest theatre which offers an array of live theatre shows and offers the opportunity to enjoy a show after sampling one of Truro's many restaurants.
Local to The Haven and in less than 2 miles or 10 minutes you can be experiencing some real treats. Whether it's for a chain ferry ride across the famous River Fal to the secluded Roseland Peninsula or a cycle ride to the Devoran valley or North coast you can reach it in a jiff.
Walk around the beautiful National Trust gardens of Trelissick down to the beach for a picnic lunch whilst the more energetic of your party take in some canoeing or dinghy sailing at nearby Loe Beach. Meet up again for a creamy Hot Chocolate in the quirky Loe Beach Cafe.
Only 5 minutes from The Haven, park your car free at the village station and take the scenic Maritime Line to Truro or Falmouth and avoid the stress of those town centre car parks.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the nearby Bissoe Nature reserve. For those quiet days 'in' the relaxation of the Cornish way of life is on your doorstep.

We are easily reached by road via the A30 from Exeter, leaving the M5 where it is signposted to Okehampton.
Follow the signs to Redruth and Penzance until you reach the Carland Cross roundabout. Then, follow the sign to Truro A39/A3076. From Truro take the A39 to Falmouth.
The nearest local station is Perranwell Station (1 mile), though you may wish to travel to Truro Station (4.5 miles)
We can arrange car hire during your stay, or we can arrange a taxi transfer to/from Truro Station.
The nearest airport is Newquay (15 miles).

Guestbook for The Haven
Cottage is superb, very clean, cosy and comfortable also very stylish (felt like home). Staff very helpful and friendly also knowledegable of local area and amenities. Food lovely, children catered for both with menu and games in Cafe Azur. This was our first visit but we will definitely come back again, we had a lovely break at The Valley and will be recommending it to family and friends. Thanks to all the staff.
