NANSAVALLAN FARM HOUSE
Farmhouse | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
A lovely Cornish traditional character farmhouse ideal for the family, set in the heart of the countryside yet a stone's throw away from the hidden gems of Cornwall with the Gardens and coast's awaiting your arrival. The farmhouse is set on a 260 acre farm with uninterrupted views of the countryside, cows and horse all grazing in the meadows. This house has still retained it's charm and character that you would expect from a farmhouse and is very much a friendly home yet has all the facilities one would hope for when on holiday.
You can sit and watch the wild life we have at the farm, Otters, Deer, Badgers, Fox's bats, we hope you don't see the resident Kingfishers stealing fish from the ponds directly in front of the farmhouse as this means it is raining! But if you are and it is raining, look carefully for a ripple in the water, this will be the Otters who pass by quite often, they are also after a free meal of our Crayfish, fish and fresh water mussels we have put in the ponds.

The West Country region
Truro is 1/2 a mile from us it is the capital of Cornwall it offers the Cathedral and a wealth of shops big and small, narrow streets, cobble lanes, restaurants, theater, eating pubs but with a lovely feel of a small market town. After a long day out perhaps on the beach or a trip up the river to Falmouth on one of the river boat that leave from Truro did you go and see The Maritime Museum? or take a look at the lovely National Trust gardens we have all over Cornwall with flowers would would only see abroard [we have a very warm climate]You might have been to Eden Project to see the Bio domes and the incredible amount of things going on there, they are open on an evening in the Summer as well, did you go down to see the Minack theatre ? where the stage over hangs the sea!Perhaps you went over the King Harry ferry towards St Mawes on the Roseland to walk along the coastal footpaths had supper in one of the great pubs,on your return keep a look out for the herd of deer as you come up the drive, they will be munching away on my husbands corn, don't tell him!You have to be quick as the are gone in a flash leaping the hedges with out any effort. You might well catch a gleam in the head lights fo a Fox's eyes, i expect he is on the way up to the farm to check if the chickens have been locked away yet. You are all home, kids in bed, having a glass of chilled wine on the terrace,Neville might join you, he is the farms pet Jackdaw, he will only watch you for a minute or so then go off and do what Jackdaws do.
Bet you are sleepy now, sink into the fourposter bed and have a think what you can all get up to tomorrow! Perhaps a nice quite day on the beach making sand castles.
I can cook a meal for you during the day and all you need to do is pop it in the oven on your return at an extra cost .
We can help you book a days sailing at the water sports centre down at Loe beach which is 5 min drive or if you fancy doing any thing different, just ask and we help you find it.
Local beach Loe beach is 5 minutes in the car, where they have a "Water sports centre"so you can learn to sail also Falmouth 15 min in Car that is the south coast Newquay Pearanporth is 20 min in car.Truro is 1/2 mile away from here Eden 35 min in the car we are very central to all of the Cornish delights, North or South coast beaches
