Thanks for your kind review, I agree the views from the lodge are spectacular and Limefitt is such a lovely peaceful place to relax. Sorry the dogs spoiled the experience at the Haybarn for you, I understand not everybody likes them around, that's why I prefer to keep the lodge strictly a dog free zone. Would love to welcome you back to Ruskin Lodge.

"Excellent couldn't ask for a nicer lodge"

Stayed here for a long weekend with my family to celebrate my birthday, as we were visiting Rookin Farm for an activities weekend. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, bottle of wine and chocolates as a welcome gift. The lodge was full equipt, didn't want for anything, beds comfortable, bedding and towels provided. Lounge area very well designed and very comfortable was like home from home I really didn't want to come home. Outside large decking area with table brolly and padded sun loungers provided. Lovely views from either side of the lodge. Will certainly be paying another visit this year and I would highly recommend Ruskin Lodge to everyone, very competitive price as well can't beat it.

So glad you enjoyed your stay at Ruskin Lodge, thanks for taking the time to write a review. Jacky

"Truly Stunning"

We stayed at Ruskin Lodge recently and found it fantastic in every respect. As a base for exploring the lakes it ticks every box,Bowness,Widermere are all within close proximity by car.The area around Limefitt is also superb, plenty of walks and even a couple of pubs for those who wish to leave the car behind.
Ruskin Lodge itself is appointed to an exceptional standard, every home comfort is provided. On arrival everything was spotlessly clean and we even had a few welcome goodies waiting for us.
A credit to the owners ,this lodge is First Class.
Many thanks for allowing us to share it.Regards,The Hill Family
