"Great property in fantastic location!"
From start to end this was a great trip and a wonderful lodge to stay in. The owners replied promptly to emails and made the process of booking very easy. We stayed for a long weekend and arrived on a Friday night, the checking in process was very easy and we were so impressed with the internal quality of furnishings in the lodge. The rooms are all a good size, the beds are very comfortable and especially the master bedroom en suite is a luxury we didn't expect! The kitchen is fully furnished with all the pots and pans you would need and the lounge is very cozy with lovely sofas.
We had a little boy of 3 with us and he loved the range of games and DVDs which were kept in the lodge! And the location of it was easy to get to from the motorway as well as very close to the most sought after villages in the Lake District.
We were sad to leave the lodge after a wonderful stay and we're already planning a return visit!
