The spectacular roof terrace is where this apartment really comes into it's own. It is a private roof terrace, shared by only 2 apartments (ours and one other apartment). It extends to almost 50m2 and has panoramic views over the nearby islands of Solta and Brac. Think bright blue azure sea, deep purple bougainvillea flowers, lush green vegetation - it really is picture postcard perfect.
The roof terrace is furnished with 2 large wooden dining tables and chairs, wrought iron day beds and a wooden daybed with canopy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Imagine yourself stretched out on one of the day beds, the refeshing sea breeze, the distant sound of boats and church bells, as you immerse yourself in your latest book and sip an ice cold beer. Holidays just don't get any better than this!
As well as the roof terrace, there is a private balcony just outside the living room with a wooden bar, 2 stools and a gas BBQ -perfect for those lazy nights in!
This penthouse apartment is located on the third floor of the apartment building and comes with an allocated car parking space.
Please note that 3 wooden planters nominally divide the roof terrace between the 2 apartments (see later photos on website). If the other apartment is vacant for all or part of your holiday, then you have the full use of the roof terrace.

Once the final payment has been received, we will forward a welcome pack which contains information on the apartment and the local area, as well as directions to the apartment, local ferry times and recommendations for local restaurants.
Check in time is 3pm / Check out time is 11am. If you need an earlier check in time or a later check out time, please contact us to arrange these. Where possible we will accommodate these requests at no extra cost.
On arrival at the apartment, you will be met by our English speaking representative with the keys.

Please be aware that some facilities in the area (such as the water taxi, some restaurants and beach bars etc) can be quite limited in the low season. Most facilities are open by mid-June.
Please note that the roof terrace has very little shade. The wooden daybed has it's own canopy which provides shade. As the terrace is open on 3 sides, the breeze can be quite strong at times. This however is very refreshing when the temperature hits the mid 30's C.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on the roof terrace.
Refundable breakages/key deposit of 200 euro required on arrival, to be refunded on the departure day (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
If you have any special requests, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you!

BookThe Dalmatia region
The arts, heritage and lifestyle, that's central Dalmatia in a nutshell. This makes it a place not to miss - for fun, rest and relaxation while enjoying the 1700-year-old tradition!
In the year 305, the Roman Emperor Diocletian (who had practically the entire known world at his feet), chose the centre of Dalmatia as the place to build the country house in which he would enjoy the last ten years of his life. Today the former Imperial Palace is the settled historical core of Split, Croatia's second largest city and the eternally young, noisy and merry centre of the region's tourism and economy that sets the rhythm, style and cheer for its wider surroundings, the smaller tourist destinations, the islands off its shores and the green hinterland heart of Dalmatia.
Excursions
A number of one-day trips are available from Trogir:-
SPLIT - A town of classical Roman, old Croatian, Romanesque and renaissance architecture, with a Mediterranean atmosphere. Split is easily explored on foot and is a delightful place to while away a few hours. It is a shopper's paradise, whether wandering through the narrow cobbled streets or haggling for bargains at the large outdoor market. When you need a rest, where better to enjoy a cup of coffee than on the expansive marina looking out onto the islands of Brac and Hvar.
MAKARSKA, the centre of the Riviera and coastal area, is a natural choice, with its town square, Cathedral of St. Mark, but above all because of the Franciscan Monastery and its rich collections.
PRIMOSTEN, a gorgeous islet 20 minutes north of Trogir. The prefect place to spend a day exploring.
KRKA Waterfalls, one hour north of Trogir. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the forest, spectacular views of the waterfalls and the chance to swim in the lake.
THE ISLAND OF HVAR The town of Hvar is the biggest settlement on the island and is famous for its lavendar. It abounds in Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, and Mediterranean atmosphere. A must see for a day trip.
DUBROVNIK - A Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque town - all in one, is a must. Located on the very southern end of Croatia.All-day excursions.
MEDJUGORJE - A world famous sanctuary.
Detailed information on excursions can be obtained at the tourist agencies. In addition, we have a local person who offers personalised day trips and fish picnics.
The Trogir / Ciovo area
Trogir is a town and harbour on the coastal strip of the Kastela Gulf, 27 km west of Split, with a population of10,266. The old town is situated on a small island between the island of Ciovo and the mainland; connected with the mainland by a small stone bridge, and with the island of Ciovo by a drawbridge. The town is a UNESCO heritage centre, and the majority of the buildings are from the medieval period. It is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, full of small intimate restaurants, bars and ice-cream parlours. Lovers of cultural and historical monuments, original architecture and art can wander around at their leisure, soaking up the history. The waterfront, with its long promenade, bars and restaurants is particularly popular at night. Indulge in some celebrity spotting as luxury boats come in to moor.
Trogir ACI Marina has 200 berths in the sea and 80 places on the land. Their website is www.aci-club.hr.
The wider surroundings of Trogir (Trogir - Seget - Ciovo Riviera) is characterized by lavish green vegetation, numerous islands and islets, rocky and pebble beaches.

The apartment was very nice, and we were very happy with our stay. The welcome package was a surprise, and it was perfect to have something to eat and drink when we arrived. There was a good description with recommendation what to do, and were to eat. – and we tried a lot of them |

The owners have really thought about everything you need for a self catering stay. The apartment is very modern, spacious and clean. We stayed the last couple of weeks in September and the weather was still very warm. The beach area near to the apartment is quiet and picturesque. The roof top terrace is very special with excellent views across to the islands. Take the little ferry or the bus into Trogir on a night time and if you are lucky you will find there's music playing in the cathedral square. Overall we had a lovely relaxing break and met some nice people along the way, including Bozena, who met us with a welcome pack, which was a nice touch. Many thanks to Hilary too, as we did do this as a last minute break, but everything was organised. |

My husband and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time The weather was hot so it was swimming every day .We preferred the small beach at the end of the road and swam from the rocks . The welcome pack was great and Bozena provided an enormous cake for my husbands birthday..There were plenty of good local restaurants to eat at and when we ate in the roadside fresh produce was lovely. Would definitely recomend this apt |
