The Villa:
Villa Kairos is a luxury waterfront villa on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia set in a sunny west-facing position and away from any traffic noise providing for a peaceful and picturesque setting. The newly refurbished and modern villa is split into three apartments with two available to rent either together or separately accommodating from two to eight people. The grounds encompass 500sq/m of lush gardens and paved areas which give direct access to the beach as well as a private jetty. The villa is only 10km from Split airport, 3.5km from Trogir(UNESCO town), and located in Okrug Gornji on the island of Ciovo which is connected to the mainland via a drawbridge. There are many exciting day trips on which to embark from the area and you can park your vehicles securely on-site. The Dalmatia region
Croatia extends from the furthest eastern edges of the Alps in the north-west to the Pannonian lowlands and the banks of the Danube in the east; its central region is covered by the Dinara mountain range, and its southern parts extend to the coast of the Adriatic Sea.
With so many different choices of things to do in Ciovo there's something for everyone. You can laze on the pebble beach in front of the villa, explore ancient Trogir, take a ferry boat to a surrounding island, dive or embark on other aquatic adventures, visit Krka National Park for the day or venture out to one of the many wonderful vineyards on the mainland. . Trogir is 3.5km away (5 minute drive), the airport is 10km away (15 minute drive), and Split is 30km away (45 minute drive).
Trogir / Ciovo area
Ciovo is an island in the central Dalmatian archipelago; area 28.8 sq km (length 15.3 km, width up to 3.5 km); population 6,071; highest peak Rudine (218 m). In the east, Ciovo is about 2 km away from the mainland (Cape Marjan); in the north-west it is connected with the mainland by a bascule bridge (in Trogir). The island of Ciovo actually encloses the Kastela Gulf.
The vegetation is typically Mediterranean, consisting chiefly in underbrush (holm oak, myrtle, wormwood, juniper etc.), especially between Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji. On the northern side of the island are forests of pine and cypress. Major crops include olives, figs, almonds, vines and citrus fruit. Apart from a part of the town of Trogir, there are several villages: Arbanija, Zedno, Okrug Gornji, Okrug Donji, and the hamlets of Slatine and Prizidnica. On the western part of the island are sand and pebble beaches, the largest being those in the Saldun bay. Smaller coves include Duga, Tatinja and Movarstica. Along the south-western coast are several smaller islands (Sveta Fumija, Kraljevac, Galerija, etc.); their cliffs provide good opportunities for underwater fishing. On the eastern side of the island are smaller beaches, around Slatine and the Supetar Cove.
The village of Okrug Gornji has a wide range of shops for day to day items and access to the local post office. The Okrug beach, also called "Copacabana" because of its popularity, is the most popular beach on Trogir Riviera. The two kilometres of pebble beach offers plenty of opportunities for water sports. The vast number of beach bars including "Cafe del Mar", "Aquarius" and a few restaurants keeps this area alive throughout the night. There is a water-sport centre "MAX" with a complete range of water sports for your summer day as well as bicycle and scooter hire. Another company "SPACE FUN" also offer a vast range of water sports. The water in front of the villa is absolutely crystal clear and extremely safe as there is hardly any tide or current. If you are looking for sun, sea and sand (actually pebbles) then this is an ideal location. Croatia is claimed to have the most translucent sea on the planet with some of the best "Diving" in the world.

Further details indoors: Villa Kairos II is a modern luxury studio apartment 25 square meters in floor area that is entered off a large patio on the ground floor. This patio has an out door solid wood dining table that seats 8 people with view of the sea. The newly refurbished apartment contains a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, sink hob and extractor. The bedroom features a luxury German made bedroom suite with air-conditioning/heater. There is a pin activated safe for your valuables and a stereo with radio and CD player. Two cots are available for use at no extra charge. There is also a satellite flat screen T.V. with an integrated DVD player. The bathroom features a shower/WC and Washing Machine/Dryer. (All bed linen, bathroom towels and beach towels are provided).
Villa Kairos I is a 140sq/m three bedroom apartment (including balcony) occupying the entire 1st floor of the villa. The air-conditioned and spacious living room provides a six-seater mahogany dining table with ocean views. The seating area contains a large leather sofa, coffee table and fireplace beside which is a flat screen Satellite T.V. with an integrated DVD player (choose from a library of DVD’s). A Sony Hi-Fi system with MP3 player provides for music to enjoy throughout your stay. The fully integrated kitchen is entered off of the living room and contains a fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, toaster and all kitchen utensils with tea and coffee making facilities. The hallway leads to three bedrooms and the bathroom. Two of these rooms have queen sized beds and double glazed aluminium doors which lead to the 40sq/m balcony where you’ll enjoy relaxing on the luxury sun lounges with panoramic views. Both these bedrooms have a stereo/CD player, a free standing fan, ample cupboard space and a pin activated safe in which to keep your valuables. The 3rd bedroom has two single beds and overlooks a pretty garden. All bedroom furniture is German made and of the highest quality. The Villeroy & Boch designer bathroom is fitted with a wall mounted sink, toilet, bidet, washing machine, and a spacious corner shower all finished with brushed chrome Grohe accessories.

24th – 31st May 2008 Thank-you very much for a lovely, lovely holiday. Your villa is super- so pleasant to be in and well-equipped, and we loved the garden and terraces and the sunset over the Adriatic. We started the week doing quite a bit of sight-seeing, but gradually became more and more content to walk around the coast first thing and then spend the rest of the day on the beach or in the garden. We all felt truly relaxed, and I was praised over and over again by my friends for my excellent choice of villa! July 2008 After our long drive all the way over Europe (I’m not complaining!) It was definitely worth it! The beach was amazing and the views were spectacular! A word of advice though, when swimming beside the waterfalls of Krka National Park, don’t swim towards the deep areas unless the current caries you away from them or if you’re a really strong swimmer. I recommend the tube ride to those who like a thrill (just along the beach). Thank you! Theo - UK
