The apartment is located on Ciovo 5 minutes walk down hill from Trogir. There is a small beach 5 minutes away (suitable for children), a camp-site where you can play tennis and lots of other activities, a larger beach 10minutes away with lots of water sports, fishing, and plenty of cocktail bars with sun loungers. The season starts in March/April for a quiet holiday, on into mid summer when it gets vibrant and hotter right on into September/October when you can still enjoy a swim in the sea.
Trogir is a beautiful walled town and harbour with many restaurants and bars, medieval churches and castles. Its a very popular stop over for very large yachts and sail boats.

The Apartment is located on the Island of Ciovo which is connected by bridge to the medieval town of Trogir.
This beautiful walled town is recognized by UNESCO for its Churches, Monuments, open squares, medieval streets, waterfront promenade.
There is also a very lively market, summer festivals with performances in the open square and churches.
Take a boat to Split's old town and visit Diocletian's Palace or on to the Island's of Brac and Hvar.
Visit The Krka National Park with it's beautiful Waterfalls and lakes or stay by the local beaches and soak up the sun in this Mediterranean climate.

We are located 15 minutes from split airport ,1 hour 30 minutes from Zadar airport, car hire from airports AUTO Europe is cheapest (book car early for best discount) from U.K. and Ireland Zadar serviced by Ryanair,
Split serviced by Easyjet, and many other European airlines service Split, Split Ferry port 30 minutes by car. local bus station 10 minutes.

We loved this apartment! It is modern and clean, and it was certainly big enough for 2 adults, and our 2 teenage sons (13 and 16). The fantastic balcony is like an outdoor room where my husband and I spent a lot of time together talking and looking at the beautiful view. One thing that the owner's photos don't show is the shipyard in the bay, but it wasn't noisy, smelly or dirty, and after a while we came to appreciate its industrial charm.
The apartment is well-appointed, including washing machine, modern oven and airconditioning. We especially appreciated the extra, separate toilet. The only niggle that I had is that the kitchen utensils were a bit chaotic, so I was very happy that we happen to have a small sharp kitchen knife with us. The local agent was very helpful.
From the apartment it is about a 10 minute walk to Trogir, and about 10 minutes to the pebble beaches. We also discovered another, more "local" beach called "Plaza Beach" which we preferred to the two beaches mentioned by the owner. You can get to Plaza by turning right out of the apartment complex, walk until the pedestrian crossing, and then turn left towards the water. (The pedestrian crossing is where you turn right to follow the shortcut to Trogir.)
One thing that drove me nuts is that there are no footpaths along the narrow road that runs in front of the apartment. Please remember to walk on the side of the road so that you face the oncoming traffic!
Trogir itself is compact and very friendly. It's easy to get confused in the mishmash of alleys but it's so small that you can't get lost. The local all-day market is great: fresh fruit and vegetables that were much better and cheaper than in the supermarkets. One other thing is that we got a better rate when we changed money in the bank than using the ATM.
The apartment doesn't have wifi (much to the irritation of our teenagers), but there is a free wifi connection in the main square of Trogir. You can sit at one of the cafes on the square but you can just as easily connect by sitting on the various steps around the square. We had the best and fastest connections during the day when everybody else was at the beach.
We can highly recommend both Trogir and this beautiful apartment!

Lovely apartment with exceptional views - watched dolphins swimming in the bay one morning. Up five flights of stairs. Ship yard nearby - not too much of a problem but there is a constant whine from the generators. Downhill walk to Trogir - bit too much coming home late at night in the dark so we got a taxis back which were quite expensive. Supermarket and restaurant are within walking distance but a bit of a trek along a dangerous road. Would suggest that a car is essential.

We had a very nice family holiday in this apartment. The apartment had everything we needed. The local agent met us on airport, and she was very helpfull.
We used about 10 min to walk to the beach, and also about 10 min walk to Trogir. We were very happy with the location to Trogir.
In the evening we could sit outside on the balcony and look to the see. There is a ship yard near by, but that was no problem.
