About the home

Access to Beaulieu Cottage is up a sloping gravel drive. The property is on ground level and there are no steps indoors.

The cottage is light, spacious and furnished to a high standard.

The master bedroom consists of one double bed and the large second bedroom has 3 single beds.
There is plent of built-in storage in the bedrooms.

There is a double sofa bed in the lounge, should guests wish to have an extra sleeping area.

The house bathroom is a good size, with a a heated towel rail, basin, toilet and shower over the bath.

A travel cot is available on request. The kitchen is fully equipped and can seat up to 5 people. Grocery basket by request can be ordered direct from the owner and would be payable on arrival.

The Jersey region

Jersey is 9 x 5 miles with over 450 miles of roadway (comprising a mix of roads and small lanes) as well as a network of over 46 miles of green lanes with a speed limit of 15mph (24kph) where priority is given to walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

The island is well known for its truly magnificent sandy beaches, sheltered coves and crystal clear waters. Inland, winding lanes take you through delightful countryside.Warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream, Spring arrives early and Summer lingers on. The weather here consistently tops the UK resort charts for sunshine hours and temperature. Jersey is the most southerly of the Channel Islands and summer temperatures average 20C.

The Trinity area

Jersey's world famous Durrell Wildlife Trust is a short drive from the property, as is the main town of St Helier.
Every year St Helier hosts the Battle Of Flowers festival, Jersey Boat Show and International Air Display. From the port of St Helier visitors can catch the ferry to the other Channel Islands and St Malo, France.

There is a petrol station and a pub that serves food just a short drive from the cottage. There is also a Waitrose supermarket en route to the main town of St Helier.
