This comfortable self contained holiday home has been designed 'Just for 2', where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. There is no other holiday accommodation here to spoil your enjoyment of this property.
We know you will enjoy a peaceful stay in this rural location. All the facilities can be found in the nearby town of Trie sur Baïse (2.5km). The Pyrenées and the wide outdoors are on your doorstep and there is plenty to do throughout the area. Lourdes and Spain are within easy driving and shouldn't be missed.
The self contained converted barn, part of an old farmhouse, is situated in a quiet, traffic free, secluded rural area, yet close to all amenities of Trie sur Baïse.
This comfortable double glazed gîte is fully equipped and is ideal for 2 people. The large 20m² lounge with it's comfy armchairs, dining table and balcony, is equipped with Satellite widescreen TV, DVD/video, hi-fi and offers complete relaxation.
Wi-Fi Internet access is also available. There is a protective fly screen at all the windows. Central heating is provided (at cost) on those 'not so warm days in early spring. The property complies with H & S regulations.
The large mature shady 1¼ acre garden offers beautiful views over the countryside, with the Pyrénées in the distance.
The swimming pool (0.90/1.3m) and gardens are shared with the owners.BBQ and garden furniture are provided.

The Midi-Pyrenees region
This region includes the High Pyrenees where there is plenty to see and do. Ideal for walkers and lovers of the outdoors. Visit the UNESCO site at Gavarnie, the lakes and waterfalls near the Pont d'Espagne or just relax enjoying the views. Lourdes, the famous cols used by the Tour de France are close and you can even climb the 10,550 ft mountain to see the highest observatory in France, or take the cable car. The views from here are magnificent.
Just meander through the lanes and admire the scenery and local villages.
The are many 'bastide' villages in the area, some of them intact. The vineyards of the St Mont region where you can enjoy the local wines and Armagnac.
Birdwatchers will enjoy the soaring vultures and eagles and nature lovers may be lucky enough to see the rare Pyrenean bear, the marmots and the shy Ibix mountain goat.
The range of places of interest are from Roman ruins to the local churches, bastides and village centres and farmer's markets. These are held daily in different local towns every day
Just 2.5km is Trie sur Baise, the main canton town for the area. All amenities are available including banks, greengrocers, butcher, bakers, hairdressers and the newsagent for that daily paper.
The local, well stocked Intermarche supermarket is open every day. Times do vary. but are usually open between 9am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday plus Sunday morning. It is closed for lunch between 12:30 and 15:00 on most days. The filling station is here, with some of the lowest prices in the area. It will only take credit cards.
Restaurants are scattered and range from local bars to Michelin standard. Most are open at lunchtime but evening opening is variable.
