Villa | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
located in Vela Luka inside an 8000m2 estate immersed in Mediterranean vegetation. Scents and vibrant colors of pines, cypresses and carob trees create a perfect place where comfort, functionality and tasteful furnishings are combined in a marine environment. Entering the antique hand-forged gateway, stairs prelude a descending path to the sea, flanked by green olive groves and clumps of lavender. Leaded by the scent of jasmine in bloom you'll come to a 130m2 old-fashioned elegant villa built of stones with 600m2 large leveled terraces surrounding a delightful two floors luxury house. On the ground floor a living room with fireplace overlooking the sea, on the first floor 3 bedrooms with the kitchen, all tastefully decorated and furnished in contemporary classic style. Lavish vegetation in the estate creates an appealing secret garden in which the concert of cicadas and sea breeze brushing the trees give a lush experience of well-being. Two porches for barbecue, dining and lounge are linked by blue sky and green foliage framed by characteristic dry stone walls seeming to dive at sea in the turquoise bay just at the foot of the family property. At night, lighted only by the moon and Milky Way stars you are nurtured with a peaceful atmosphere of ancient times.
Unique place enchanting the visitors eager to intimacy and offering a peaceful space to chill-out.

Vela Luka is a small town and a municipality in Dubrovnik-Neretva County in southern Dalmatia, Croatia. The town is located on the western side of the island of Korcula at the bottom of a wide bay which has many indented coves and was developed at the beginning of the 19th century. Its name means "big harbour" in Croatian chakavian. Inhabitants of the Island of Korcula and Peljesac often refer to it simply as "Luka" (the port/harbour). It has several hotels and a medical centre called Kalos (for rheumatic disorders & rehabilitation). The inhabitants are farmers, fishermen and workers in tourism. The town is home for the shipyard Greben and other smaller industrial plants.
Vela Luka has a population of more than 4,000 Croats.
It has an average of over 2500 hours of sunny weather annually and is the second largest place, in size, among Adriatic islands. The diversity and richness of the cultural inheritance of Vela Luka can be seen in the museum and galleries located in the Center for Culture constructed in the second half of the 19th century near the Church of St. Joseph.
The museum/gallery is decorated with mosaics made in 1968 when the International Artist's Meeting of Painters was held in Vela Luka.
