The Lombardy / Lake Como Area

Exclusive Lake Como represents one of the most picturesque parts of Italy. With medium temperatures during winter and high peaks during the summer months, Lake Como offers a panorama of beautiful nature in Northern Italy. Two big cities on your doorstep, Como and Lugano, ideal for designer shopping, eating out and nightlife. Tremezzo area

Tremezzo is situated on the western shore of Lake Como, opposite Bellagio. This small, quient village will delight you at every corner, historical buildings, period churches, world famous Villa Carlotta with its botanical gardens, and Green Way Walk has something to offer evey individual. There are many types of restaurants, also those offering typical lake dishes, and the famous Tremezzina cake.
During the summer months Tremezzo offers the opportunity to practice many water sports, also the chance for a round of golf on the oldest course in Italy the Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf club only 10 minutes away from Tremezzo. Markets, concerts, festivals, art shows will keep you busy in all the local piazzas.
The busy town of Menaggio is 5 kilometers away, with its parade of shops and cafès.
Tremezzo is the village that had given the name to the area of Tremezzina, which starts from Ossuccio until Cadenabbia, one of the landmark of Tremezzina is the Comacina Island, home to the summer festival of San Giovanni.
Tremezzo is home to one of the most beautiful park / beach on the lake, which is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Local ferries and buses to all parts of the lake can be caught regularly in Tremezzo. All in all, Tremezzo is the perfect place to visit.
